    the vr disks are 5 stud! they will need drilling and tapping to accept 4x100.

    looking into replacing brakes on my estate! it was a 1.9tdi originally so has 256mm brakes up front and drums on the rear. they are 4x100 and i dont want to change this as i love my wheels! is their an option for the 312 with 4 stud discs?

    IIrc the mk5 r32 ones0have baffles, you need the oil pick up to as their shallower

    after an extensive search of the interweb i found a company called mason tech make the adaptors called great plates and are now out of business. but i did find a group buy on another forum getting some made up so i have got my name down for a set. http://forums.dubworks.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=618&p=5660

    it isnt supercharged but engine has been rebuilt and fettled to run with one. the only problem i got with the suspension is it rubbing hense why i wanted to lift her, i i can loose alot of the rubbing by centralising the wheels in the arches i may as well do that as i love the way she sits (looks wise) at the moment

    i lifted up the front on the golf by an inch on the coilovers. was told when i brought the car it was 'custom' suspension. i thought this just refered to coilovers but the rears had no thread like coilovers. so asked around an was told to lift up bottom cup and their would be a circlip to move. so just been out this morning to lift it an inch or so. but bottom cup wont move! their is groves for circlip but looks like it has been chucked and cup sat below bottom grove and welded in place. so i removed spring and the top of the spring has been removed. i cant see no branding on the shock/spring.

    just reading throught these times on the standard vr6. and makes me realise how quick my old mk1 1.9td was. £100 for the car £150 for the engine £300 modding drivetrain. and she ran a 16.6 at the pod in 2009 spring festval. cant waith to get the mk3 down their to compare
