    Hi there mates ( ) I've notice a week ago , when i drive during the day (summer time) i feel like driving a 1.6 !!!!!! slow acceleration , slow responding and slow performance but at nights when the weather is colder , it's way much better ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- {- MK3 1998 OBD2 Automatic -} spark plugs new oil and oil filter new air filter new any tips I'll be more than happy .

    well , hello mates today i wanted to buy a mass air meter for my vr 1998. i was like WOW when the VW guy said it's cost u 430$ . my question is . i found on Ebay , a mass air meter but not a bosch. it's TREperformance and it's less than 100$ .. Another thing. these the cars model and year witch the mass air meter fit . 2001-2003 VW Eurovan 2006-2006 VW Golf 2002-2004 VW Jetta 2003-2003 VW Jetta GLI 1999-2002 VW Jetta GLS 1999-2003 VW Jetta GLX 1999-2005 VW Golf GTI 1999-2004 Subaru Legacy i can't see no 1998 vr6 here. it will fit into my car ? should i give it a try

    problem fixed it was a sensor wires that melt under the battery. now it's all good .

    hi there mates , today is a fresh problem well , my VR start to change gears stupidly.. for example i start to drive , then before i reach 50KM the 4th gear comes , i mean it doesn't shift like it use to , like it should change.. shifting so fast 1,2,3,4, and the car will die , so i’ll have to push more gas so it will respond . and some other times , it's start driving in second gear i have no idea WHY!!!------->(the stick in D) , till 40 RPM reach, then it till change to third (i checked the oil , and it's just fine) and tips , i'll be very happy .

    i have been looking for this chain tensioner screw for like 2 months . in WV company (israel) there is no chain tensioner screw. so they told me we have to ask for it from germany ! i was like well .. go ahead and ask for it . it will cost 500 shekis. Around $150 today they said, unfortantly the VW germany don't have what u asked for . i didn't believe our VW company by saying even in VW germany there's no screw it's so stupid .... so i just bought a used vr6 engine today for $750 . and i took the stupid screw. and put it in my engine. so it cost me $750 only coz i needed a screw

    Hi there mates Changed almost everything under the hood. (Happy about it) But i notice that when i go down a hill for example, and not hit the gas/not hitting any brakes, i feel the car is pulling back. I start the downhill at 100KM for example, and then it will reduce to 90-80-70. it was never like this before i change the parts. The parts 1. Lots of chain tensioners!!!! 2. Camshaft timing chain 3. Slide rail 4. Chain sprockets 5. WEITEC Sport Springs 6. Engine oil 7. Filter oil 8. Brakes I don't think this got to do anything with this problem. But yeah, this is what i did. Any tips be

    it cost me more than $600 . coz i changed 1.lots of chain tensioners!!!! 2.camshaft timing chain 3.slide rail 4.chain sprockets
