dont mean to come across as rude...... but breaks are pretty important mate. take your car to a proper garage and get them checked if they dont feel right. Its not all about saving as much money as possible by doing things yourself when others road users lifes could be at risk.

I have the exact same problem with mine and assumed that the problem was the top mounts. Wish i could help ya mate but im head scratching again now lol.

I have a mk 3 vr6 and im looking to convert my engine in to a mk2. I want a low mileage mk 2 with history and no or very little rust. gti's are just silly money at the moment so i just wanted to know if i was to get a mk2 driver or any non gti mk2, is the chassis capable of handling vr6 power? Do i have everything needed to convert or is there any other parts which im going to need? Iv been told id need a corrado pedal set to run the hydrolic clutch but there must be a bit more to it than that. Im pretty new to the v dub world and this is going to be my first project. I just want to get all th
