    Just tried it on my mates mk2 golf an it doesent fit,Must be off a vento but thought they would be exactly the same

    heres a pic, will have a go dropping the header tank tomorrow night, if its not going to work it will be for sale by the weekend. il post it up on here.

    hello, i have just bought an eibach strut brace second hand, the guy claimed it was of a mk3 golf but when I received it and tried to fit it the header tank is in the way. its sitting on top of it about 15mm of the turret. could it be off a mk2 golf or vento and has anyone else lowered the header tank to get it to fit.thanks

    Hello, looking for a set of standard spring plates for the front of my vr6 mk3 golf, been looking all i can find are ones that lower my car even further which i dont want, does anybody still make the standard ones? Thanks

    Hello all, i took my car off the road about 7 month ago and it had a slight water leak, maybe half a litre every month. I fired her up for the first time tonight and this water leak is so bad my header tank emptied In 5 min. The water is running off the outside edge of the sump and the belt is soaked to, spraying it everywere :-( does anybody have an idea were its coming from. I cant see anywere down by the belt its way to tight in there.

    hi, i bought a manifold ages ago from them, then once i got around to fitting it about a month ago it doesent fit. if i line up two bolts at one end the two at the other end are about quarter of an inch out. so i emailed them and they sent me a new one out and the new one is exactly the same. they say they have never had any problems like this and have sold hundreds. is there a difference with obd1 and 2 i dont have a clue what to do now

    Got my tickets 2day :-) was at the vauxhall one 3 weeks ago and heard the bugjam was way better.. I cant wait :-)

    Yer, the broken part stays connected to the clutch sounds odd, but when i took it off, it took me a while to relise as it looked fine, till i put my finger throught the center of the clutch and span it around and the spline grips stayed still.

    I may be able to help.. Mine did this last year, exact same discription of faults as mine.. At first i thought it was the box but infact it was the clutch. The very centre of the clutch which slides on to the splines of the engine broke away from the rest of clutch so all it was doing when putting in gear was turning the broken part on the clutch if that makes sence :-)Â

    My mates thinking about buying it off me for 1800. A black 3dr highline but with black leather recaros out of a colour concept, black smoothed bbs wheels,lowered 40mm and full exhaust. The paint work aint to bad, little bit of rust bubbling up here n there. Would u say 1800 to much? If he decides not to buy it then, i will start the vrt asap :-)

    Havent had chance to look into the insurance yet but i havent stopped thinking about a turbo all night :-) when i get my broadband sorted out some serious browsing getting done! If i go this route il do it over time well a year at the most lol couldnt wait any longer than that

    Only thing is insurance on a turbo'd vr, im only 21, could be a bit much thats if i even can. Just looked on parkers.co.uk a standard s3 is (new group) 35 but doesent have the vr6 3door highline group, does anyone no what was group 17 is in the new way there doing it?

    When i did mine i didnt have a clue, i thought i was flying when the dash came out in no time but after that i was sitting scratching my head trying not to lose my temper :-) but in the end i didnt and all went back together nicely and no squeaks for me :-) a tip from me is, when i did it i got a load of money bags to put each set of screws in from every different part and labeled them all, really helps when putting back together rather than having a heap of screws all mixed up :-)

    Good point :-) il get a look on here for an idea on the price for that,suppose got wheels and interior already so could be a good way to go, cheers

    Been thinking lately about selling my vr and saving up for a 2001 audi S3, really dont no what to do because i cant save for buying petrol. I use £100 a week atleast :-) and i just drive around for fun suppose thats why they made the vr6 :-) but anyway what do u guys think, i feel i might be hated for this :-)
