    so if i just turn the ignition on and leave it to sit for a while this will reset it and maybe just maybe help, i am already fdighting against a sweaky altanator wheel so my plan is to drive to bug jam and spray it withlubricant just as i enter then no one will hear it lol

    my vr6 has recently started to play up it has started to rev itself when in neutral up and down up and down, and when driving it also over revs and needs to be put in neutral when at lights ect as it keeps trying to carry on even with brakes on, and then out of the blue if slowing down it will loose all power and stall, which is very strange for an auto as it is always in gear, please help as i need it fixed for friday so i can go to bugjam in her!!

    i did it all by myself gold star for me, took a while and a few cuts to get the crack pipe back in but all fixed now

    i need to change my thermo housing but they dont do a haynes manual for the vr6 so could do with some instructions i am a novic

    I WAS PLANNING ON REPLACING THE TOP PART AND ALL THE GASKETS AND SEALS, DO YOU THINK THIS WILL WORK?? AS I CANT GET THEY FULL HOUSING UNTILL MONDAY AND NEED IT FIXED BY FRIDAY MORNING

    MY BABY HAS DONE A MEAR 115K THE GEAR BOX WAS RECONDITIONED LAST YEAR AND UP UNTILL TODAY SHE WAS RUNNING AS GOOD AS EVER BUT THIS MORNING SHE CRACKED THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING WHICH UNLESS I GET HELP AND ADVICE FOR WONT GET FIXED BEFORE BUG JAM

    HAVE JUST NIPPED TO THE GARAGE AS CAR WAS LOOSING WATER THEY HAVE SAID ITHEY THINK IT IS THE THERMO HOUSING, HAVE BEEN QUOTED £17.50 FOR THE TOP PART OF THE HOUSING, BUT I HAVE NO IDEA IF THIS IS THE RIGHT PEICE, ANY ADVICE, I AM ACOMPLETE NOVICE SO ALL I CAN TELL YOU IS THAT, IT IS THE BIT WHERE ALL THE HOSES GO INTO THAT IS LEAKING, IS THIS THE TOP BIT OR DO I NEED A FULL HOUSING???? PLEASE HELP I AM SUPPOSED TO BE GOING TO BUG JAM AT THE WEEKEND AND NEED IT FIXED BEFORE WE GO!!!

    please help i was driving my vr last night and the belt snapped i had to drive home about 2 to 3 miles coasting most of the way do you think i would have done any damage, the temp was at 110 and they temp light was flashing???/ am off this morn to buy new belt but want to know if its poss i got away with it or not!!!
