how do i get around this cut the wires going to the fuel pump ? where is the pump on the golf? under rear seats?

long story but alarm on car is a crap fox guard or something anyways the fob has broke and no longer opnes the door with the remote locking or diabsles the aftermarket imobiliser. after a few swear words and cutting stripping and rejoining wires the imobiliser is now disarmed in away that the car cranks over but wont start like its got the fuel cut is this maybe a secondary imobiliser? or has it been wired the the fuel pump?

Hi got a rattly tappety noise coming from the engine ive not investigated it yet to find out what side and where its comin from anyone got any ideas it sounds like the cold start noise but even when warm i know thats very vague in description but ideally things to check would be great. what grade of oil does the v6 run on i checked the dipstick and it looked very thin

use brake cleaner? the stuff you use to clean new discs from the protective oil

Well after my cav v6 went bang and i was getting bored of the cav sri i tried somethign ive never tried before a Gerry car Got this cheap Golf VR6 Lowerd on coilovers on 17 SEAT wheels S/S back box and that all important induction cone Plans Picking up the skirt trim tomorrow and i might get the original wheels ive got refurbed comments

Why is there no petrol light on the golf vr6? i havent ran out of petrol yet but not having that light there makes it very difficult to judge how much is left in the tank. Has anyone done anything about this ?
