  1. I`m honestly not sure Craig. All I can suggest is you give EBC a ring on 01604 583344. 6-pot Brembo`s. Nice !
  2. I run a MK2, but I`m running the same 5-stud 288mm setup as you guys. I know that as the setup came from a MK3 VR6 A copy / paste of my pad report I wrote on another forum, but thought I`d share I have been using a variety of pads over the last 6 years, but tend to use EBC Yellows as they perform well and are economical but I`ve always felt they feel a little `wooden`, they brake well enough, but especially in the wet, its hard to feel when they have locked up through the pedals. The Carbone Lorraine RC6 were the best I`d ever tried, but the price was an issue. I was obviously very interes
  3. Have you used both Red and Yellow stuff pads. Yep.
  4. Cheers mate, much apreciated :-d No need to have a look,I need to get one ordered asap, got back from the ring last night and i`ve got Donington on Saturday and Anglesey on monday 8-)
  5. I disagree, from my experience (not on a VR6), the Reds are better for a road car. The Yellows are a track pad and work better when hot, don`t get me wrong, they still work from cold, but not as good as the Reds IMO.
  6. I run the Yellows on my 288mm setup. I really like the pedal feel on track. On the road, i`d be tempted to run the Reds though.
  7. The long retainer spring that clips onto the caliper on the 288mm brakes has vanished from one of my calipers It looks like a long bit of sprung steel wire that clips into 2 holes on the caliper. Rang the local main dealer today, but they said they couldn`t find the part or a number to order it ! Does anyone know where I can get a new one (apart from the scrapyard), or what the correct VW part number is so I can order a new one ? Cheers.
