What have you done to it since?
-
Nice were you chuffed?
-
It was at Alan Jeffery Tuning in Plymouth.

On Saturday i put the mechanically standard VR on the Rolling Road and the results were in fact quite suprising...
Due to age and mileage etc i would have been more than happy with 160+ and although there are always variables, and RR cant be 100% accurate... but according to ther results my little beast has 181 bhp. So i was pretty chuffed to say the least :-d
Any one else had some really good or bad results from an RR?
-
Wooo hooo Yeh you are lol. Everyone else is just not cool enough. Were too cool for school. Cool Cool Cool 8-)
-
Nice look fella! But do they make u roll faster' date=' and corner harder..? ;-)
[/quote']
Not at the moment, the rubbin' is a tad too much believe it or not! Need those arches rolled, then i will corner harder
Although one comment mr... I aint a fella I'm a 'laaady' ha

Yep me and Ben have style... I guess the question would be ... do you wanna be in our cool gang?
-
Lol I wouldnt be worried if they were on your car permanently. Its things like when i saw every other car with the BBS RM's and the Porsche pepperpots at E38 i was like
And for us to both have bought them... we just have super style lol
-
So much more to do, so little pennies. If she werent so low i would put the deep splitter on. Wrecked the last one within 7 hours. 5 of those i was parked outside my house!
-
Which ones did you buy Ben? I kinda don't want them becoming too popular, I like being in the minority a bit. However i guess being one of the only modded VRs in my area i'm on a safe bet
Thanks guys

Haha, Nice one! I think you should see if he wants a job going around us lot 'cleaning up'
-
Wow she looks mint. Shame you have to shift her, but that sort of mileage on such a low mileage car is a shame. I've put 10k on mine in a year and im just short of 80k now
Whats the service history like? How much are you asking for it?
I'm jelaous of the seats, but have climatronic which is awesome
-
Thanks. wanted them for ages, got them at a bargain price... just need to sort the arches as they are rubbing a bit too much
-
Looking great!, loving the centre caps too
-
That was a damn good save! They are fun little pocket rockets. I agree with Nat... You should keep it!
-
So now she needs her arches rolling, as she's rubbing like a.... but here are some new shoes i bought for the VR will add some more when i find my camera cable!
They are 7.5 on the front and 9 wide on the back. Rub a Dub Dub!
-
Sounds like it could be a good possibility that this is the problem. I second Muttley.... How did you sort it? lol Thanks for the heads up guys
-
So i'll be driving along, and then come across a speed bump.... over i go, second gear, low revs.... judder judder judder. into 3 once revs have picked up judder judder. etc etc.
Know this probably sounds like i am trying to drive in a too lower gear for the revs, but honestly... im not that stupid.
this is happening anywhere between1200-2000 rpm. 1st gear is 9/10 fine, but 2-5 all keep juddering Not just with speed bumps, but junctions and just generally pulling away.
Anyone recont hey know what it could be, any help would be much appreciated.

My mk3 GTI 3dr seats sit lower than the 5 door VR...
-
Yeh i've seen that too. I thought it was quite funky to be honest. Think i have pics of it too somewhere. Weirdly i've never been keen on the roco but its different, so it gets my vote!
-
I agree with black
-
I find with the wipers, irrelevant how long they have been on intermitent. i take it up to full speed from intermitent then back down to intermitent and jobs a goodun,. They move quicker Found this by accident with GTI
Cant try the blower out as i have climatronic....
-
Sounds like a good idea for me. I've sheared the bolt on my sump it's that bad. Supposed to be having one made up at work, but funding dependant, i might get one from you, just depeneds how long before they can get one made up!

Just coming up for re-newal on mine, dont know what the re-newal is, but it will be higher than a new customer, but they will lower it to that anyways... looking at 700 fully comp all mods declared, drive any other vehicle 3rd party and protected ncb. I'm 21 and have 4 years ncb.
Thats with Bell... Bell, Elephant and Admiral are allt he same company so they should all be roughly the same.
Being female and insuring a car is always a good thing

Well the height wont make any difference, but the rest should. Im no mechanic sadly, so i need to think hard about the things i wanna do and in what order. I'm looking into getting a consolidation loan so i might just buy more stuff before i get it. haha.
