    i was just wanting to know if id have any problems having 2 different tyre sizes on my vr 205/50/15 on the back and 195/50/15 on the front is this MOT passible? cheers

    just been out for another drive in it and its slowly getting worse, over bumps and turning but only when its in gear ??

    yea front bounceys like a boat just the weld all looks fine re checked all bushes/mounts no cracks or exssive movment the only theing i did notice when bouncing the car was the drivers side suspension top mount moves abit and you can feel i bit of vibration in it

    yet another problem thread by dru lol this one came out of the blue today, basically ive got a nasty creeking/knocking noise coming from my front end on acceleration and braking it does it at every gear change even if accelerating softly, it almost feels like its coming from under my feet on the drivers side, ive bounced around whilst stood still on the front and it doesnt do it, ive also put it in gear with handbrake on and let the clutch off to get it bouncing and i think i can just here it. anyone any ideas oh and all bushes are fine mounts etc as i and some replaced 3 weeks ago thanks

    checked all today coil pack seems fine but plugs look like theyve seen better days, so leads and plugs are the next change on the list , but i rev the engine as far as i could whilst it was cold and stood still and it did stall and then struggld to start again? took a few goes but got it running but missing for a bit, its also used a bit of oli and water in the last few days????

    will check it out tomoz just had a new coil pack fitted just before i got it so if it is sholuld be a waranted part also has a very holey exhaust could this contribute?

    colder mate but once the water temp needle gets to about 90oc its fine and usually when driving it before the idle settles down its at its worse, it misfire but never stalls

    i already have a set but th inner light (chrome reflector) has gone rusty and needs replacing just cant find a replacement light for it do ya rekon id get away with sanding/priming/ and a chrome spray?

    anyone one elses vr drive rubbish when its cold my will only rev to 3k then only fires on 5 and the wholecar shakes for a bit until it warms up its all fine any ideas aprt from let it warm up lol

    ended having to use aoto glym black dye messy stuff but did the job. not faded yet

    is this done by using mk2 headlights in one of the plastic covers ?

    another day another problem with my vr im needing new rack ends but are abit confused as to what theseare ? anyone help please also does anyone know if the steering rack off a corrado vr6 or mk3 gti will fit the vr? gfs list it as been the same but dont list a year and ive had trouble with the 95 vr parts been slightly different to gti/96+ vr's cheers

    probally not relivant but i had the same problem on my seat ibiza did an full flush and less that 24hrs later the same again turned out it was the headgasket that had gone and oil and leaked into the coolant

    fuel pump it was ,dropped new one in all fine so me spitting my dummy out just saved me £80 just on parts cheers to all those who helped

    still struggling with this my rear bumper is still grey tried loads of stuff and most of the above but still to try shoe polish, but i think i need a new bumper the black trim has an almost chalky texture you can cratch it off but soon comes back, could be rotten?? anyone got a mystic blue rear bumper? lol

    they also tied to tell me they drained my fuel tank and couldnt put the fuel back in for safty reasons they aint drained it just another fast one!!!!!!!! MUPPETS no aint charged me for that just for the gearbox mount they changed whilst waiting for a second pump but ill be getting that checked

    apparntly they aint even had one to install, but the original pump does nothing at all quiet as a mouse, but my bro check all wire and i have power making it to the pump but the pump aint pumpin

    it was the garage that said the first 2 where faulty but i got a different story from their supplier , not going into that ill just upset myself LOL turns out they where just taking me for a ride and being lazy, so ive orderd another from a different supplier which will be here tomoz so fingers crossed they did diagnose right??

    theres nothing coming from the pump at all dead as a dodo

    checked as many earths as i could find and all seem ok will just wait now for another pump drop that in the report back
