i have a 1997 on a R reg golf vr6 but it werent registered till 2000. would it have been stored at vw somewhere? also can i put a 2000 reg plate on it ? does anyone know ?

i have had 2 corrados not vr's just 16v's. and i must admit did handle the road well. would love another one but i had 2 within 18 months and people kept ramming me. they were both wrote off twice within the 18 monoths the last one really put me off them. three were not my fault. but own a golf vr6 at the min and i love it to bits. and had no problems with the golfs. so sticking with them for now.

i have pm him. its i only got one key for my golf too. so wanted a spare. plus its brand new the light works and cover in pefect condition. just got a 16v badge on it which i will remove if i can it to work if not i will sell it.

i have a 98 mk3 golf. i have found a brand new genuine vw key that i brought for my corrado ages ago. it is possible i can get it cut and use it for my mk3 or does it have to be chipped etc for it to work ?

i have just paid £1600 for full respray on my mk3. but that was new doors and wings i did all the removal of parts ie bumpers, doors wings etc. his work is ace and has done a really dood job. you do tend to pay for what you get.

it has got aftermarket door pins but they are loose fit and they have been on for a fair few years. I am going to try have a look this week as got the week off work. what have i got pull to undo the door. as the interior handle dont open in and the rod is still attached. as you can hear it when u pull it in the door.

i have wanted a vr6 since my mate brough his i have always been a vw lover. then mate was in a bad. bike accident. and his life was lost. so i broght the vr off his mum. 72k on the clock, full service history plus the memorys. that was 4 years ago 80k on thev clock. still loving it.

i cant even get my door card off to check for leaks. but the pin still goes up and down with central locking. when i get time i am going to take it to bungy.

well unfortually i delocked the car when it went in the paint shop. so cant try it with a key. anyway what causes this to happen? is it just dried up inside and sticks?

well my arms aint that long lol. i am taking it along to a mate first as he says he may be able to get into it but will have to see first. its a good job its not my daily driver as would seriously cheese me off

well i thought i may have to take interior door card off and drivers seat out. but is it possible as the door card is sealed round the edge by the door seal and is covered by the dash at the front. i dont want to damage door card as its leather and will be hard to track another one down.

hi there folks i have not long got my golf back on the road and the drivers door has jammed . i cant seem to open it from either inside or out. the central locking seems to be fine but it wont unlock it has any one got any ideas ?

i was just talking to my friend about throttle bodies on vr6 as seen the red vento on anyone got a idea how much BHP they will give? as they do sound awsome with throttles bodies on. a friends got them on his mk1 golf and that makes some right noise lol ^o)
