  3. plus side Cool lambo doors Upholstery ( apart from colour choice ) Condition of paint work and alloys Negatives (IMHO) All other bodywork
  4. Unnecessarily hesitant drivers, in any situation, period !!!! :@ winds me up even more than drivers pushin in ( if you got the presence of mind to do so with causing me to suddenly change speed/ direction then good one ya )
  5. Always good to put another face to name Rodney, lol... Ended stayin way too late admiring the quad pipe alfa 3.2 V6 GTA. Man that thing was no slouch either !! Over all a pleasant evening with some nice kit on show and the weather held out ...
  6. lol, yup, the VR came first ( before the current GTR anyhow ) so maybe we can petition them for some kinda 'audio rights' infringement... :-p also reckon it actually sounds like an R32 vs a VR6 !! I'll be at the watford tesco for 2nites ace cafe meet mate, in a silver mk3, I got knackered front wheel bearings and or calipers so go easy during the convoy, lol...
  7. you did well to see his tail pipes mate, they are indeed rapid, just pray ya don't stumble on a unmarked hks stage 2 jobbie with 600 brake :-#
  8. One of these cars sounds like a blown VR !! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mq6LVI28VrQ&feature=related

  11. I'm good for anyday as I'm self employed, though I am on call with some clients, just need a weeks notice n I'll book the time off
  12. cheers for the input guys ! I too have read that decats can lose you torque. they say that a certain level of back pressure is good for torque but too much is bad obviously. I understand the SP 263 cams are rated as having smooth timing and idle so hopefully not too much unburnt fuel to smother a sports cat ? I think that will be my course of action. Thanks again guys for helping me make a better informed decision.. I'll post again with feedback on how the performane is affected once the work is done, cheers, Rich...
  13. Thanks mate, my neighbour is workin on a grumpy F reg sierra cosworth that will soon be throwin up 500bhp ! He suggested I just 'lance' out the cat and re weld the exhaust. I'm yet to hear of any fellow members that have done so ? Or is that a common alternative to fitting a by-pass/ de-cat pipe ? I got 3 weeks to make up my mind as I'm booked in with Vince at stealth for some intake work and re-map. ( still dunno what to do about the bl##dy exhaust ) *-) *-)
