    Hello My VR has been running poorly for the past few weeks, mainly missing and cutt ing out, but only when its raining, i was on a long drive the other night and it was really running rough, cutting out regurlaly, I pulled over to check what may have been causing the problem, i couldent see anything obvius, but when I checked the oil, ther was a lot of mayo on the cap, he car has been using a lot of water over the past few months, but the mayo on the cap is new, I was putting the water usage down to a water leak somwhere.     I had mine done at profes autogas I'm not sure how many miles I have done, but it runs fine, it is due for a service though.

    I took the VR for a rolling road on the weekend, all went ok, and it gave good power Figures are at the wheels but for some reason, it caused quite a bit of electrical interference with the machine so much so that they had to earth the car, now I bought new ignition leads recently (budget ones) do you think this could be causing the interference? i have been having interference with my radio recently too. Also the graph goes a bit fuzzy at the end the garage mentioned that this could be a number of things including the clutch on its way out, does anyone know of any other things I could look

    awesome super fast replies, thanks, I'll get the sensor ordereed up tomorrow, I cant get the front back on without it! while I'm hear I just remembered, while I did the swap I swapped the engine and box complete from the donor car as they was working fine, but now my reverse gear seems stiff, could there be a reason ? I havent disconnected the servo pipe, I just removed the servo complete and swapped it to the new box. Ta Mark

    Due to me forgetting to top up the oil in my engine, and killing it, I have had to swap engine, what a pain in the ass! lol anyway I have a few questions; when I removed the connector from this sensor the sensor broke, anyone know what it is so that I can get a new one? secondly, My car has aircon, but i noticed that my power steering pup wasnt toothed, so I have swaped that from the one on my donor engine as that was, but now my water pump is not! my question is, is the pulley on a air con car different to a non air con car? Finaly, there are two water pipes going to the throttle body, o

    Hello Im new to th VR6 world, well i've had my car about 6 months, when I get chance to wash it I'll add a build thread, in the mean time, my 'Y' pipe has cracked, I heard you can get a cheep replacement from a Mk4 Golf, has anyone got the part number for the pipe I cant find it anyware, I have had a look on ETKA but cant find it on there either.
