  3. Hi Guys, I am having massive clear out of my garage and came across some bits left over from my charged VR. Can anyone identify these parts and tell me what they are worth? I think is a stage 3 kit for a VF supercharger? Cheers Amit
  4. thought it would be good to see how various cars perform with VF9 superchargers I have a stage 2 kit installed in my car and this is my graph below Toyotec tuned VR6-Kompressor. VW Motronic 3.8.1 ecu by Toyotec. 270bhp@6500rpm 233lbft@5400rpm. Vf9 stage 2 charger. 26mpg on combined running. 162 mph top speed. The car feels unbelievable now! Amit Amit
  5. Yeah ariel is wired in to HU, as is the blue wire connected to the blue wire from the stereo and measured on a meter. Dont know about the old stereo. Died before I got a chance to really listen to the radio.
  6. I have just fitted a new HU to my mk3 and the radio reception is terrible. If I manually tune to radio 1, I just about get signal but certainly no auto seek. I tried fitting one of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150390348241#ht_2483wt_940 but 0 improvement. Any ideas?
  7. GSF have two types listed as rear. one for £23 and one for £50. The front ones are only £15 Amit

  10. You guys are awesome! Just been out to the car, working by iphone light, swapped the sensors over. As soon as I cleared the codes, rear right came up. So looks like I need a rear sensor with a square plug. are the front and rear sensors the same? Also how easy are they to fit? Amit
  11. any info on swapping the sensors over? Amit
  12. how do i get the discount? just turn up with the card? So i guess your thoughts are thr sensor is gone even though it works intermittently? Amit
  13. Right I cleared the codes but the rear left sensor code wouldnt clear. It would pop back instantly. I then logged the wheel speed measuring blocks and it appears the rear left sensor is intermittent. 14. where did you get your replacement ecu? Amit
  15. will give it a shot but I am fairly sure they will just come straight back as they all appeared together. Would be handy if vagcom showed the logged date. How do I remove the ECU? can it be removed without removing the pump? Amit
  16. 5 door odb2 (1997). yeah I thought it was odd I couldnt clear the codes to.. could of sworn I had done it before on my mk4. Amit
  17. I do have a registered copy. I went for the software only option. It let's me download and register any version I want with my key and 409 I the only version that work with the ebay lead. It did an auto scan then when I selected clear it said something like non aproved lead doesn't allow this function or something. The ecu was cleared about 3 weeks ago by a mechanic who fixed another problem so I know it was clear and in that time I have done about 100 miles. I think it's the abs ecu playing up as I can't see three sensors failing at the same time. Amit
  18. no i didnt because my cheapy ebay cable doesnt allow me to reset codes even though I have a registered copy of vag com.
  19. Recentley my car started showing the ABS light constantly. I got it on the old vag com and below are the errors found VAG-COM Version: Release 409.1-S ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Address 03: ABS Brakes Controller: 3A0 907 379 E Component: ABS/EDS ITTAE 20 GI V00 Coding: 03704 Shop #: WSC 00000 6 Faults Found: 00290 - ABS Wheel Speed Sensor: Rear Left (G46) 35-00 - - 00283 - Front Left ABS Wheel Speed Sensor (G47) 35-10 - - - Intermittent 00290 - ABS Wheel Speed Sensor: Rear Left (G46) 16-10 - Si
  20. excellent so not needed then. Where does the vacuum for the PCV valve come from? I am adding the PCV valve back onto my car Amit
  21. In this pic, What does the sensor in line with the breather do? Also, where does the vacuum feed for the PCV valve come from/go to? I am missing all those bits in my car and trying to figure out what I need. Amit
  22. Mate that would be awesome! Will pm you my details. Cheers Amit
  23. so you have that bit on your car? What do you mean by I need a catch tank? where does that need to go? Amit
  24. On further investigation, I think all the bits in the red box is what I am missing. Do others still have this stuff on your VF cars? On my car I just have a straight pipe from the rocker cover straight to the charger intake tube Amit
  25. Ok Here are some pics of my installation. Do these look right? breather pipe coming from the rocker cover breather The pipe from the rocker cover breather goes direct to the top port on the charger intake pipe (closest to charger inlet). Its just a straight pipe with nothing in its path. Is that correct? Instructions mention some sort of integrated catch can which I dont seem to have. There is another small pipe coming from the back of the throttle body going to this thing with the blue connector. Again this is just a straight pipe from the tb into the bottom of this device. No check valves
