  1. I tried to jump in on someone elses thread for an answer but failed.I am about to change rear discs, pads and bearings.I spoke to someone about the way to do it they said there would be a bolt or nut in the middle of the breakdisck to hold it on( a fairly big one). If this makes sense does anyone know the size as Ill have to get bthis before I attempt it. cheers all

  3. Alright mate I am no expert but i fitted samco hoses to my car I had 7 but only fitted the 5 you have pictured can not find the other 2 for the life of me. they are fairly streight forward to work out which goes where when your taking the old ones out. good luck with it. If yo find where the last two little ones go let me know mate.
  4. Thanks very much mate I had missed the 8mm screw. I had undon the three for the locking mechanism but missed that one. The pin took some bending to get it in the right position for the hook on the polo mk4 handles, did you have to bend your pin ass well. CHEERS MATE

  9. alright all the handle on the passenger side of my vr (97 eleci windows) does not open the door.I managed to get it to open to look at the lock, but can not get it out as there is a metal runner running from top to bottom with a silver wire behind it. the bar is held on by two 10mm nuts undid them but the bar would not move so can not get the lpock out. tryed putting it back together and the nuts will not go back. Any help with either prob welcomed i know its probably real simple but i cant work it out.cheers
  10. Alright all just wondered if anyone can shed some light on this for me. I have some porsche boxster wheels to put on my car the fronts are 7x 17 et55 the rears are 8.5x17 et 50 i had a look on the calculator at the top of this page and got back inner clearance 34mm less and outer extended 4mm and the fronts inner clearance 20mm less and outers retracted by 20mm. I guess this means I need 20mm adapters on the front what would you recomend for the backs 30mm or 35mm anyone done this and knows any advice would be great cheers all sorry for rattling on just want it perfect first time.
