Did you use the ISO fit plugs or just joined wires, could have fused some thing, check your fuses and see if anything has popped
-
Ok on the first pic the wire on the left is from the ignition, the second pic shows the box were it goes into this you see as I have the heater vent out so its just under there stick your hand in and you will be able to feel it

Hi all, as title really who has one and how does it fit, I ordered one that had supposedly been modified to fit the vr6 engine and its no were near fitting, just wondering if anyone had done one Cheers imag2083.jpg

Very best of luck with it, like the Vento and now getting rare as you say and it makes a change to see a car being saved rather than broke for profit

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-4-101-6mm-MAF-HOUSING-WITH-AIR-STRAIGHTENER-MK3-GLX-AUDI-TURBO-ASPIRATED-/251223214742?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a7e120a96 These were the ones I spotted you would need to check the bolt measurments, if you google 4" maf housing it brings up quite a few
-
3.740 to be precise so its 0.260 smaller than you wanted so about 6.6mm smaller than you wanted, there may be a full on 4" diameter but that's the onlyone I could remember straight off as I wanted a standard maf sensor in alloy, I think there's a guy on eBay in America that does 4" ones will have a look to see if I can find it

http://unitedmotorsport.co.uk/products/95mm-maf-housing/ This any good ? Don't know how much as there's no price (hate that when websites do that) but looks a nice bit of kit

vapour blasting in rotherham,south yorkshire
daxmatt replied to daxmatt's topic in Engine Maintenance and Problems
Little bit more as when doing on a phone it has a nasty habit of crashing and losing the post Done by these guys, I have used them several times and allways found them helpfull and good turnaround http://www.craftworkcoatings.co.uk/powder-coating-shot-blasting.html A nice way to bring your engine bits back to New finish, the manifold was in worse condition than the pictures show so very pleased Cheers matt -
Hi all, during a few jobs to my car I decided to give the manifold a clean, after thinking about it for a while I decided to just get it vapour blasted rather than fully polished or powder coated, Its not a show car but there's nothing wrong with a bit of fettle Before After Very pleased with it all done for £30 its a bit like normal blasting but its done with small plastic beads and water the media itself is like talc powder very fine so cleans but its much less abrasive

I had a set but et 25 fitted no problem and had enough clearance
