  1. Hi, just had a look at mine, the writing is at the back, are the drainage pipes for the sunroof blocked?
  2. No, abs is working, it just dont nose dive when you brake hard!! It squats instead!! I was hoping i wouldn't have to jack the back up drive etc but i'll go for the 2mm gap and give it a go!! Thanks for your help!! It's an L reg aswell so not far from mk2 production if you think about it!!
  3. Has anyone got a picture of what the rear brake pressure regulator looks like on a normal ride hight mk3 vr6 golf!!?? As the car we've acquired has been lowered and the above has not been adjusted which makes braking a very eventful action!!! Please help as this needs adjusting asap so it brakes at the front again!!!!! Many Thanks
  4. Do you know if it has the OBD2 loom?
  5. Oh and you may want to put the vr hubs and brakes on the gti, as they wont stop it!lol! plus the suspension, etc etc
  6. Should be pretty simple! just so long that you put the vr wiring loom in it! if you have the knowledge, then you should be able to get it done in a weekend!

    ECU

    Hi, does anyone know of a definate way to reset the ECU without using vag-com, and if so does it get rid of fault codes of the old part you've taken off!? Cheers people!!

  14. I would like most people have said is sort out handling and rubber as you need it to stick to the road with the power it has!lol if its an OBD1 the port is in the same place as an OBD2! If your on a budget, then GSF do a full lowering kit ie shocks and springs for £185 ex vat, i had it on my GTI and it was a very good set up!
