    Glad you guys have got yourselves sorted... Well Done Ben... Won't be in the Split Screen Bus this year..as it needs a new clutch and a new set of back tyres.... (I wonder Why ???) ... so will be in the Fabia RS.... man i miss my VR

    i'm looking forward to this.... Lets hope tony can get it sorted... My tickets allow me in on thursday so I will be up at the track then.... So a few days before is fine and no booking fee or anything.... you would be paying a bit towards my tyres...

    Its just under 2000mile round trip and well worth every mile to get there.... words and pictures can't really describe it.... The size of it is amazing and nothing like any UK show you will go to..... they say 200,000 people visit and 100,000 cars attend during the week of the worthersee tour... This is the VW stand.... all cars were open and free to sit in and a VW person on hand to answer any questions about the car... this was the same for the Audi Stand too.... This year Audi had a big feature of the A1.... and had 7 concept cars... This hot rod one... was on air... like many cars ov

    WHAT a week... As always! Awesome event, it seemed to be the busiest we have ever seen this year, unbelievable! We took over 8500 photos in total..... don't worry i'm not going to post them alll.... but i thought i would post a couple up! The full set will be here: Hope you like them One of the best parts about this show is just as the evening is setting in.... you can be anywhere round the lake... campsite, Bar, Street, etc etc and you will here the sound of a VR giving it beans.... bring a big smile to my face

    in short: Helen's VR might not be road worthy and doesn't want to pay the extra £40 for bringing an Audi with her fiance and the passes you kindly supplied last year catered for any make Its not a problem at all.... I need as much sponsorship cash as i can get.... I will happly give my tickets away for that....

    Yep Should be a good number of cars about.... currently i'm racing the fabia VRS... but i want to get the bus back out for bugjam...     That is the short list and only vw too . . . . . Thought i would try and get up to the pod for the saturday night special in Feb. .Hoping a few vwdrc boys will be going too. . . . . But i'm only able to do the saturday as i'm going to vw on the sunday as part of the pistonhead sunday service

    The first car i bought was a 1971 Beetle when i was 17... I got into the aircooled side of VW's. I have owned around 7 buses and over 5 bugs since, and I still have a Split Screen Bus and a Beetle now.... some years ago now...... I bought myself a mk2 golf for a winter, while my bus was off the road...and fell in love with that, i think it was the heater, that i fell in love with. Old Aircooled cars don't really have heaters....since my first golf i have had a few more mk2's, a corrado, couple of polo's and a passat... about 2 years ago... I bought a 911... something i always always wanted.

    I'm not really helping myself am I.... ha ha But it had to go as i wanted to sort the proper race vehicle out Me too.... i know a few people planning on going up this month and then again in Feb too... Might have to take the GTi or the Fabia VRS up

    Just been given some footage of me in my old VR at VW Action 2009... got a couple of them.... they are all the same.... Burnout heaven... and the only full run was a 15.3 Just thought i would share.... This is really not helping the fact that it is now gone.... and i want another

    I wish it was that simple..... Mine was a standard 97 VR6 Highline no Mods apart from lowered and Milltek Exhaust system Best time was a 14.75..and have several others around that.... i shall find the tickets... only ticket i have to hand is a 15.04 60ft - 2.1247 330ft - 6.1463 594ft - 8.9382 1/8th ET - 9.5688 1/8th MPH - 71.35 990ft - 12.4553 1/4th ET - 15.0448 1/4th MPH - 89.79
