    iv seen one this year at a couple of shows with a similar shield around it, but cant seem to find them anywhere? any ideas lads? Also i know the BMC TDA (not sure if i got that right, sorry) is popular on here, does anyone have a sound clip at all?

    when you turn your engine off leave your car for 10mins come back to it and if the coilpack is hot (not luk warm HOT) then you will need to replace it!! i had this happen on my old mk3 quite common i beleive!?

    Hi peeps!! Just wondering if anyone knew what fuse the heated seats run off? i cant see anything on the guide all i have is: 6: Blower 19: Airconditioner would it be any of these? also does anyone know if the relay is in the fuse box or under the seats? cheers,

    Ah thanks buddy that is really usefull information, i will definatley be trying this technique at the weekend!! Are the lifters a big job to repair/replace? i had a quote from VW earlier for chains and tensioners.....£770.... BUT if they need doing i will have to pay it!!

    Hi everyone, i have a slight knocking noise coming from the engine when i start the car and leave it to idle i also can here it while driving below 3000rpm, i have been told by one pal that it could be the tapets and another told me its the chains and guides?! Can anyone post up or send me a guide on how to check the chains and what to look for?! Thanks in advance

    hi i have a similar issue... my ABS light is constantly on?! does this mean there is a fault that will be an easy Vag com fix?

    Well here we go guys n gals sorry to keep some of you waiting! Friday last week i was given the oppurtunity of getting my hands on a great car, in very good condition! So after pondering the idea i waved goodbye to the lounger from the comfort of my new leather interior in the VR!! Sad to see her go but looking forward to what the future brings in the VR!!!! Well not done anything to it yet apart from a wash and put my headlights on. what can i say this car is in good nick there is not alot to do, but as we all like to add our own touches i do have some ideas in the pipe line..... so watch out

    Hi everyone, so i got my VR on friday and just getting used to it over the weekend. There is something i just cant figure out?! how do you get the fogs on? i have not seen a speceific switch in side?! the fogs are fitted with bulbs in! i know it seems a dumb question but like i said this is all new to me!
