  4. does anyone no if the mk2 diesel gearbox mount fits my gearbox mount on 1998 mk3 vr6. just been told these are solid ruber rather then hydralic and slightly stiffer.
  5. how much did you pay for all 3 then. how long do the vibra mounts last aswell.
  6. just discovered my gearbox mount is leaking fluid so going to change it, while im at it im guna do the rear mount aswell. my question is are there any mounts from others models/ engines that i could use rather then paying about £150 for 2 vibra technics mounts. think i heard someone say a mk2 disel mount will work for gearbox or is there any other options for stiffer mounts polybush etc any help much appreciate.
  7. white looks more track car which i prefer personally. but black looks subtle and also nice
  8. Oh also had full service when rebuilt spark plugs, oil filter, got fuel filter waiting to go on aswell
  9. yea i was also a little dissapointed really expected it to be faster than it is. owned the car nearly a year now in that time had it rebuilt, cat back exhaust, BMC. still got new ht leads and silicone hoses to go on. hoping by cleaning the hall sensor and fitting new Ht leads it may seem a little better fingers crossed.
  10. yea red mk1 you mean. the one that had the shell cut in half and then welded to a tvr chassis. never saw any performance figures for it mind you.
  11. imagine the noise that thing would make especially just inchs behind your head lol
  12. oooh thats only round the corner from me but i dont have £4000 lol

if not you can get the bit of pipe think i brought an 83mm joinging pipe from samco at a cost of £7.50 delivered.
  16. very true craggys if i see a jap car i always think that will be quick but when you see other vr6s you dont no what they got under the hood. bit like jim potters vr turbo you would never expect it to be a 400bhp beast with 182,000 miles lol
  17. yea im jst wating and saving maybe turbo then. Ive allways liked jap cars and will one day buy 1 or 2 mainly skyling gtr and the rx7 looked into these 2 cars throughly and when i can afford tunning and insurance i will have to own an 600bhp jap monster but for the next year or 2 it looks like the vr6. Have just brought red silicone hoses, chrome engne cover and clear foglights.
  18. have allways liked them but very hard to get hold of a late 1998 twin turbo in manual all seem to be bloody auto
  19. not just me then few other people get them. ive allways wanted an R34 gtr skyline but being only 20 iknsurance have quoted £5500 plus i have not got £20,000 to buy the car. looks like im gunna source parts and turbo it next year.
  20. ohh any news on it yet. is it worth phoning him or is he still in the process.
  21. lol well looks like im guna have to do some reading and find out what im going to need to make 350bhp turbo and be reliable.
  22. also my red sicicone hoses arrived today and they look the nuts so got to keep it now.
  23. thats is one thing that put me off the forums. This is the best forum i have been a member of to date and many other forums seem up there own arse. think il sticke with mine and turbo it until i can afford my r34 gtr skyline lol.
