    Gave the old girl a nice wash and coat of Megs liquid wax seeing as the weather was so nice.. I got my JOM bonnet bra through the post this week too, so i put that on too. Well pleased with it!!! Its bonus time at work next month so fingers crossed some lows / new wheels will be in order \:D/

    Wow.. not been here for some time!! We have had a lot of things going on at home, most noticeable being that we have had our baby girl discharged from hospital after 8 long months. So nice to finally have the family all together at home! A downside is the passat has taken a little bit of a back seat of late. However, since my last post i have done a couple of small jobs. I retouched the gearknob as the red "4" had chipped off... no pics of before so i wont bother with an after LOL. And today I have been busy tinting the rear end..     Well, here she is with the new tints! Must say im really impressed with the kit. The whole look of the car is amazing.. looks so intimidating coming up in your mirror now!!!

    Bit of a sneak peak at the latest addition! Got my charcoal variant FlyEyes kit through today.. So far I have done side repeaters and main headlights. Just got to finish off with the front indicators tomorrow morning (got a bit too dark to finish today) Here's a sneaky peek at the tint (passenger light only when this was taken)... must say I'm reaaaally impressed with this stuff. So easy to use its ridiculous :-d More pics tomorrow once its finished

    today's dry weather meant i got chance to respray the rear badge: back together: i'll grab a photo of it fitted once its daylight again!!!

    Small update! Finally the rain stopped today so i had chance to strip the boot down and remove the rear wiper. Looks lovely and smooth now.... Excuse the mucky car I haven't had chance to wash her yet!!!

    Picked up the blanking grommet for the rear wiper on my lunch today so will try and get that deleted over the weekend

    Managed to make a start on cleaning up the rear end today Even talked the mrs into helping out, which she found very theraputic LOL Obligatory Ass shot (so to speak) And a final wash and polish.... Still unsure about removing the VW badge at the rear, I'll see how the mood takes me this weekend

    I had a play around on the pc and got an idea of how i want this one looking, basically smoothed rear end, debadged grille and smoked oe headlights.. Already ordered my grille this evening, so should begin making a start on these bits at weekend, kids and hospital visits allowing excuse the poor photoshop efforts, was only a quick 5 mins!!

    After finding windscreen wash surrounding the battery tray, i whipped the whole thing out to have a look at the plenum drains: After some fingering (ooh er), both of the drains were cleared out nicely And i gave the whole bay a good sprucing whilst under the bonnet for good measure Hopefully I'll have time for a quick wash and polish this afternoon if the rain holds off....

    I'll have a look for the paint code tomorrow, but its a metallic charcoal grey colour in the flesh Yeh i had full leathers in the vr highline and they burnt like a mofo in weather like today, these are lovely!!!

    Helloo! Been a while but i thought i would show my face again! Just picked up my latest dub today, and so far i have to say im impressed! She's a 2001 reg passat 4motion (or syncro, whatever you prefer!) all the usual goodies like half leathers, xenons, climatronic etc. done 114k, really tidy outside and spotless interior. Full history, only 3 of which were not VW services, loads of paperwork... Overall i now have something big enough for the family and it still goes like stink!!! First job for tomorrow is plenum drains, (used the washwipe on the way home and it was sat under the battery whe
