Hey just been cleaning under the bonnet and noticed this lead snapped off im guessing its come from the connections on the battery to the left of the circle, unless anyone knows its frome somewhere else near by. Does anyone kno what this lead is exactly and what it would be powering? Thanks in advance..

Hello just wondering if anyone has any advice on which HID conversion kits are the best to go with as i see so many diffrent types and prices its just a bit confuseing? anyone had any first hand experiance in any particular brand? Thanks

Hey can anyone help during all the snow we've had over the last couple of days my breaks become spongy and now i can push my foot to the floor and it stops eventually, but if i pump the peddle they become fine again checked the fluid and its full. Any ideas on what this could be, am i looking at a new master cylider?

Hello i need to change the clutch peddle on my car, anyone know how to take it off carnt really see how it would be done.... Thanks Dom ***worked out how to get the clutch off but when im pulling it im little worried bout the spring which is located above the bar that comes in from the engine bay, think its the spring that springs the clutch back up is this easy to take off?***

Hello, my new engine is in now but the only thing stopping me getting it back today is where the oil filter housing connects to the Engine apparently there is a double O Ring or sumtin that when they took it off the old one it was brittle and broke, anyone know what this is what its called and will i be able to get one from VW or any Autoparts? or has anyone got one laying round there garage somewhere that would sell to me. Thanks -
um its a bit of a gamble tbh its from a dismantlers he said it had less than 100k on it and that it was in good working order so ive taken his word for it found it on ebay, but it is a propper company and they have given me a 90 day warrenty so hope it all goes well its not getting fitted now till next week so a bit of a wait.

after pondering over things i phoned about a bit a found a engine £450 deliverd with a 90 day warrenty so just going to drop that in and hope for the best it arrives friday day and my garage said theyd work on it over there weekend so hopeing back on the road early next week. thanks for the info

hello. my car was finally fitted in to the garage today they droped the sump and had a quick look and what they told me was get a new engine! haha. my problems are 1 of the con rods is gone oval shaped after its been hitting on the shells and the shell is stuck to it its got so hot, and the cranks buggerd aswell its got melted metal on it from the shell or sumtin like that. what anyone with knowledge idea on what i should do i have been offerd all the internals i need con rods pistons crank all for £50 do u think i should fix my engine or drop another in it? anyone know of any decent engines

Tomorow im going to go to my local Auto parts and buy a set of bearings, they told me over the phone the price was £44 inc VAT is that the average price for them cuz ive heard mix opinions that they should be cheaper than that, i dont mind that price just if there half that other places i would prefer.. Thanks

meh call me cheap but i think the Halfords Advance Shampoo without Wax is good stuff, leaves a good shine and the raindrops just drop off...

Just wondering cuz i have run my car on empty for a while just cuz i want to see if there was or not but is there such thing as a fuel light never saw one on my GTI and yet to find it on the VR6.. thnks
