is this correct? thought the vento and golf would be exactly the same?

I'm keeping the side trim one way or another, that wasn't what I said. Its the arch trim what I'm unsure of. Mite keep it on as everyone takes theres off.....

The car is black and will be sprayed jet black. Only having the tailgate smoothed and the front and rear valences smoothed into the bumpers. Was going to leave the lines in at the top of the bumpers. Seen some smart vr6's with the trim still on though which makes it hard to decide. If I took it off would whats underneath just be smoothed and sprayed??

I've had my Vento VR6 about 2 months now. I have a list as long as my arm on what I want to do to it but am slightly troubled on what to do when it comes to the body work. The plan is to try and keep it as origional as possible, I have already had some Eibach springs fitted to it with a strut brace and performance discs and pads all round. The car itself is black and I'm going to keep it that way, having the boot all smoothed and a new set of rear handles put on the front so there isn't any locks in sight. At the moment it still has all the origional VR6 plastic trim on which I am struggling t

Thats what I thought, but after speaking to several companies about it they said its ok for after-market seats but these are standard seats from a st220 the runners will be different as all the fitments are different. Think the cheapest and easiest way is to just take the recaro and fix it to my current runners after some adapting....

How does the badge confuse people??? Don't know about u but I've never seen a R reg RS4!!! Get it off and burn it.... its not fooling anyone!

Last weekend I bought a pair of recaro seats for my project Vento out of a st220 (same as in a S3) which have runners designed to be mounted flat on the floor. As most people woill know the runners are side mounted in a golf/vento. So how is the best way to go about this? I was thinking of getting another set of seats out of one from a scrap yard and ripping the seat off so I'm just left with the runners etc. Then taking the frame work off the recaro's and welding some metal plates to the mk3 frames and then mount the seat top that. If any of this makes sense let me know or if there is another

so it is just a case of changing the led's? is this all over, ie heater controls and vent lights etc? could you email me the instructions? cheers

1992 on a K plate..

Currently green (stock) but would like to change it, is it easy to do??
