more complex techical stuff , lol right i know these are 3.3 ohms low inpedance but added inline resistor to convert them to high inpedance , i found runing 1.400 msec was the best i could as any less i get hunty idiol and any higher went rich with slight missis so i assume there was too mutch fuel , injectors are from a std evo 0evo ones 560cc ones but at 4bar not 3bar injectors are set to injector open time ms 1.400 battery volts ms/v 0.200 pwm currernt limit 100 pwm time thershold 25.4 injector pulse width period 40 same applys for bank 2 runing duel fuel maps as ive had major issiues wi

ps kev alterd the injector msec from 1.000 to 1.5000 and showing 1.7 on gauge and dose idiol better (something that worked lol)

well found whats causeing the resets ,which are called ,,markers , which are caused by synco loss, so i first tryed re adjusting both blue vr pots ati clockwise until they click , the instailed but hasnt made any differnce so next , il alter noise in the ms screen shot here , of the settings ill add and do a fresh tooth log to see how it works from low and high rpm , 135.995,on the log im seeing were i lose sync and that's why the pump shuts off

hi kev i would say im ok with basicis lol rubbish regards rest , as ive pluged into stock loom unsure regards earths as i followed ms pin out daigram and used a old knackerd ecu plug to solder up , Hunting when warm. What AFR are you idling at?carnt get a stable 14.7 its runing 13.5 to 15.1 as altering the fueling boxes the same didnt help Are you using closed loop fuelling, im unsure what this means kev. ill add some screen shoots , might make more sense

only a houe to make and solder a loom to plug in to vag loom , all baisic settings are in ie crank settings, injector, fuel map , igition map , warm up enrichments,cold enrichments, battery dwell, afr settings, fuel map , larch control , dual maps are set up , wideband set up , idioling without a idiol valve , i tryed it this moring - 15deg and started idioled a little low until it warmed up so i advaned timing to help , these lines are called resets common issiue with usely earths or interance from engine noise , ie injectors, alti, battery charge, etc , ive not messed with idiol valve as ye

, i really pref my ms2 on it , im getting what i think is a reset very intermitantly , as when i dose this i hear the feul pump relay reset at the same time , ive tryed added ford caps but for somereason it makes the engine miss bad in boost , heres a quick screen shot of the red lines , ,ps igore afr as engine backfired and buggared something up , as ive tryed the useal earths,caps, re programing ms unit

well today i refitted the ms unit , with idiol valve removed ,managed tgo sort the basic settings and added afr/igition timing/ fuel maps , and car starts fine with only a reset issiuse (veiwed on a datalog and could see red lines intermitantly , i tryed the idiol valve but didnt know the correct settings tbh to put in the car , ill stick with it and see if i can sort other things out ,, bloody nightmare , boost is turned off until a get a decent map sorted then tunie in stages hopefully back up to 30psi , ps regards stock ecu tunie every starts revs boosts idiols perfect kev , if i remove

i could do with trying another basefile and msq to check wheather its the ecu or the tuning hernce why i fitted this stock modifyed one, only really the idiol issuise as i can live with rest

well today , a bit of progress , i bought another set of ht leads , as the old these others were wire silcone leads , and these ive fitted are silcone ht leads with silcone cores which do seem better tbh , engine seems to rev cleaner, main issiuse 2 issiues ive left are , soon as i start the car idiol valve instantly revs up just over 3000rpm , either cold/warm , then will very steadly down to 720rpm (takes a good 30/40secs to drop in rpm ) after cleaning replaceing hasnt helped , soon as i turn the engine off wait a few mins , soon as i start the engine , it will rev its nuts off like revs

after reseting the battery and giveing the engien another 30psi of boost only main issiuses i have is on and coming down to idiol , only now intermitanty backfires from accelering and just before boost 2500rpm , strange , but ive now removed the stock ecu and ill give this stand alone with internal 38psi map sensor a try see who things progress , as its driving me mad ,

withidiol valve i adjusted screw to correct setting ,made no differnce , after i removed it , i had to screw the thottle body screw a fair way in for it to idiol ,,,

hi kev many thanks on asking , not really anyprogress , i tryed a new maf , no differnce , added new ht leads and differnert type of plugs , still same , i noticed when i removed my idiol control valve , it stopped the reving up , but then always cuts out when revs drop , , ive soldered a standalone loom here so i can plug it into the vag vr6 loom only thing this standalone is a megasquirt2 ;-( so maybe ur timing ..msq maybe set up differnert ur welcome to send a decent base file , and i can use the sensor valves, etc as im instailing the standalone as we speak ,,,, soon see if it cures anythi

no mines has a custom tunie 560cc injector runign at 4bar equals 640cc tunie , it will do this learn/rich thing when de accelerating hot or cold , mostly warm tbh on idiol, as i also run a 70 thermostate everything idenical to my friends spec ,, i tryed a 3bar and runs too learn , i know it carnt be the tunie, injectors fuel pressure as all run well on the other car , wireings been checked pin for pin many times, ill await till the maf comes may help? ive also a megasquirt ms2 which ive made a loom to plug into the stock obd1 loom and added a 38psi map sensor along with laranch control, etc

hard to explain has differnert things happerns , it always starts fine from cold and instantly revs up high then slowly drops to idiol,as the engines warming up afr starts to get worse rich/learn etc so i did assume it was maf related ,yesterday i add a 1metre lengh of 4inch tube and placed the maf inside with a mesh over each end , and didnt make one bit of differnce tbh ,something i have noticed , i removed the idiol control valve (evern thow ive bloody 5 here all do the same ) but left it pluged in to save a fault code showing in vag, and blocked both inlet and boost pipe pipes off and adju

hi kev many thanks for taking time out and help , i replaced the alti today for a 120amp one from a 4motion golf charging better ,but hasnt made any differnce there , but i know the alti was fine from adonner engine , next thing , egards the airfilter , odd thing is , ive run this in the past with no afr issuises etc in the past , but do think its a problem , ive tryed getting the maf sensor away as mutch as i can due to room issiuses, and adding a air flow straigher airfilter which are supose to help , if i start the engine it will rev up to around 1500/2000rpm then steadly drop to idiol do

ive tryed 2 sets first set were red and now these black ones which i carnt see any arcing at night under the bonet , im thinking ive a wireing alti fault at mo , as im sure the alti should not charge withthe instrument blue wire disconected from the alti , yet when i removed mine im showing showing odd voltage in vag and on the car, bloody confused

his car has idenical 4bar emmprom with same engine spec including injectors, large maf houseing ,and same thottle angle in vag ,ill have to try another maf , yet this seems to be working with no fault codes showing as i just checked this moring ,

replies many thanks all for theadvise a these issuiese have been on going for a while , i will plug vag lead and do a small video off the settings off 001 to 007 regards ecu and wireing ive checked pin for pin so i know its correct , and tbh im getting really fed up heres the spec of the engine hx40 turbo 46mm external wastegate 50mm blow off wossnerr pistons sp high beam rods 2.5 pipe work double front mount cooler 640cc tunie,4bar arp head /crank studs started the car alti shows 13.8 cold and 13.5/6 warm this engine is fitted in a mk1 caddy pickup (the pic at the side is mine which used to
