    not flashing just keeps flagging a code. The gauge and heater are OK just the same error code all the time. My going to replace the blue sensor tomorrow and the engine speed sensor and keep my fingers crossed. !!!!!

    thanks guys. Left the car in the ramp at work ready for tomorrow and GSF have got a sensor so i'll keep my fingers crossed. What do you think about the coolant sensor. ? Thanks, Mark

    Yep, tried that and they was no spark....I rested it against the inlet manifold. Been having a read on the web and I think i'm going for the engine speed sensor. I also have a coolant temp fault.....Wondering whether that might not help either. Code 522..... I think it's the blue sensor I need to change.

    Hi, I need some help please. I have a Charged VR and I have a starting problem. basically, drove the car to work today which was fine no issues.... Went out to start the car to move it about 3 hours later and it started but took about 5/6 cranks before it would start. Moved the car and then about 1 hour later I went outside to go home and the car will not start cranks over fine but will not start. I've checked and I don't think it's got a spark..... This has happend once before and I left it for about 10 minutes and it started. This time it will not start after 10 minutes...... I have plugged

    I have a decat on my car and it's a nightmare come MOT time as I have to change the complete exhaust as someone has made a "special" powerflow system.. Took me 20 minutes to swop it this time...... Might be interested in the Schrick......

    OK, Bit of an update. Fitted some crystal ligts and HID kit on the front. Sorry for the indicators but I still need to get some bulbs sorted. Anyway spent around 6 hours today cleaning and tidying the car. Cleaned the car suing this method, Snow foam, Wash and towel dry. Clayed the car, Wash and dry again. Meguiars stages 1 and 3 and the nxt wax. Meguiars window cleaner, Black Wow on the trim and the a vacuum out to finish. Still need to start on the engine bay. Here's some pictures.     Hi, Just fitted some Mk4 style Headlight and crystal indicators etc and I'm not sure if it's added to the look or not. Got some rears to put on aswell. Plus, I'm not sure where to bolt up the control box for the Xenon as it's very near my charger pipework......     Hi, I just replaced one of my rear calipers as the caliper was sticking and was noted on my last MOT. In the UK they check rear foot brake and handbrake performance each side and compare side to side aswell. Mine sailed through the MOT on Friday.

    Hi, Yes, they all seem fine.. Also seemed strange that I blow through the MAF and it was OK. I also drove 40 per miles and it never missed another beat......

    After the charger. Just got home and took it off to have a look. There was some oil mist on it but that's about it. It has done it once before at Christmas but not since.

    Hi, I went to Santa Pod today and the car drove really well all the way down there with no issues. I parked up went for a walk. Got in the car to drive it home and it started fine got about 3 miles down the road at one of the T junctions and it just stopped...... Cranked it over but it would not fire it spun over very quick but would not fire or start I opened the bonnet checked all the coil pack wires, MAF sensor connection, and main engine loom. Tried again but nothing....still spining over quick but not firing.... Got a screwdriver and removed the intake hose off the MAF sensor and gave it

    Hi, There is a grommet under the expansion tank on the right hand side as you look at the engine bay. I just ran my loom through there.

    it's not too bad a place. Nice and central for parts collection.... Plus the M69 is a great road...if you know what I mean. I often take the VR along there at the weekends.
