  3. ah also just a quick one im just about to get a exhaust made do you think a 2.5" be to small for this charger i want to go for around 400bhp eventualy should i go for 3" insted
  4. ah cool mine obd2 plus it need a little specer fitting to push my v9 across so the belts would line up so fingercrossed it wont need much i think this is going to take me some time to get all the bits im gona need i hope i can still get it running for next year
  5. i didnt realise the head needs grinding can it be done on the car? also do you know what size pullys give you what boost roughly im gona need to replace the one thats on jays has a 70mm one on it think im gona have to ring storm for a chat
  6. im not sure what plugs i fitted its the ones the bloke i got it off recommended i dont think jay has a fuel pressure reg with his kit do you know were i can get a sutible regulator
  7. ok well iv sold my v9 charger to amit so i can buy jays rotrex c30-94 setup im still not 100% sure on a few things can anyone give me a few pointers my compression ration is down to 9.0:1 with a head spacer i have a charger cooler setup and thats about it to be honist can anyone recommend what the smallest size pully i could run is/ what boost i can run are 440cc injectors the best for this setup do i need to run a dump valve do i need to run different plugs from my v9 setup will a 4bar fuel pressure regulator be ok are there anythings i should look out for when im fitting this kit

  9. just been watching your video of your car boosting and its made me so excited to get mine, your car sounds mental i bet its a handful what size pully do you have to make 430bhp im goin to buy a setup with a 70mm pully on it but i dont think my car would take that
  10. yer id personaly run it through a relay to for saftey, but that would work fine asyoj can rollin road a r32 on a 2wd dyno by un pluggin the diff wires, your controller setup looks good but will that lock the diff or will the bolt allow you to adjust the pressure just iv been told if i lock it completly it will skip when cornering ect
  11. kinda the lad who is gona be painting my car is gona come and give me a bit of a hand one weekend so shoud be done soon, as for the brace mine uses a cross bean which is bolted to the rear chassis legs so hold the diff up so i cant brace the diff that way, i mite brace the rear struts that way thou should help a cany bit how you planin on having your haldex controller setup the diff on and off? or different power ratio settings

  13. i mite have another look this weekend and take all the underseal off so i can see what and were ill have to undoeverything so i know what im looking at before i decide
  14. i was havin a look last weekend n i think im gona have to let a body shop do it as there is bist to raise the rear chassis legs up to support the floor that need swapin aswell, and im scared if i start messin about with them myself i may end up with a twisted car iv been quoted 1000 so its notto bad, better than me destroying my shell hows ur car cuming on?
  15. iv started getting a few bits cleaned up and painted ready to fit im still unsure about which prop to use the heavy steel one off a s3 or the composite type one that came with the setup anyone got any ideas which would be best?? iv also chopped this section of the tunnel off ready to take the mounts out and fit to minetunnel mounts

  18. yer that what i was try to say the gruven one may work but i dont know anyone that tryed it i think they quoted me 150 for a crank pully with a custom dia so not to expensive to be fair
  19. theres loads of threads on vortech about this iv tryed to find away of doin it for ages its probly possible but iv been told even the ceramic bearings start to fail at 15 as the belt needs to be stupidly tighy as the drive pully would be tiny gruven will make a custom crank pully ect with larger dimeters to you could run a bigger charger pully and still make 15psi but then you need a new belt and it still mite not even help much or you could go for a toothed setup but thats 1400+
  20. i looked into this and its pretty near impossible without spending 3 or 4 grand as you need ceramic bearings and a toothed belt setup and even the the bearings are supposedly on there limit
  21. i have a vf engineering charger which is totaly safe for a standard engine they make around 280 at this stage with a pretty much standard engine only requires the red injectors fitting, its up forsale as i fancy going for a rotrex it only been ran for around 5month and sat on my car for a further 6 iits done very little driving and im only looking for 1550 pm me if your interested cheers john
  22. were do i find out the ratios on boxes is a v64motion box the same as a r32 box? i hope its not to bad to drive with as i was hopingto use my car as a daily when i got it back on the road
  23. im confused how does the final drive become to short is it due to runnin smaller wheels than the standard 18s ?
