    tbh i am one of those people too!! i hhave had a golf vr6 then corrado vr6 then 3 scoobys and loads of cars in between but am back with a corrado vr6!!!

    yeah get some one elses maf on yours and see if it cures it?? tbh if it is air leak it will suck the bubbles in unless of course its blowing em out??!!!! could well possibly be maf i have had 3 scoobys now and they are always mafs on them. not 100% sure on vr6 but wouldnt put it past it!!! its gotta be air i reckon just for the simple fact its over fueling ecu is trring to compensate for mixture??

    what about an air leak some were casueing it to overfuel and hence the stalling when first revving?? you tried maf sensor?? sounds to me like that or just plain old vaccum leak?? either way somat to with air mixture.

    its not the idle control valve blocked is it?? mine kept dieing when started for first few secs took it apart and it had foam rubbish in it!! cleaned it all out and starts first time every time.

    if miles were the same and both manual i would say corrado but not with it being an autro and double the miles thast just mad unless of course its in better condition than yours??

    getting me worried there!!! i know most cars come with problems not many peole sell a perfect car do they do??!! i just like mine to be right

    peach meaning good or bad?? the car has done 111k with 2 owners and they are the only problems!! i just want to get them sorted as soon as i get it!! it doesnt use oil no chain noise from cold or tappet noise doesnt use oil or water and has fvsh completely std will be getting air filter for it though!!

    probably posted this in wrong area but.. just rung the guy i am getting my new corrado off and rear spoiler and sunroof doesnt work is there a fuse or relay that does both?? also he says when car is cold he has to gently tickle accelerator to keep it alive for about 10 secs is this idle control valve or throttle sensor?? and finally is starter motor easy job to to put new one if so how much as he says it will need replaceing?? please help cheers gerry
