  1. Mine doesn't tram line and handles well, must be the old tyre fitters trying to scare me cause they had never seen them done this way before.
  2. No tabs broken on mine, silicone would hold them in but make it difficult to remove.
  3. I got D90's on my VR they are 8" wide back and front with an offset of 52mm, the rears have 25mm adaptors fitted and it rubs the tyres against the arches alot though the arches are going to be rolled soon, I'd have thought that 30mm adaptors with 9" rims would make for a lot of rubbing and problems. My front wheels have 20mm adaptors and they stick out more than the rears.
  4. Has anybody had problems with wing mounted repeaters coming out when driving quick, my passenger repeater came out twice today, is it a matter of buying a new fepeater or just siliconing it in which would make it hard for removing.
  5. When I had my tyres I supplied fitted to my rims at the tyre shop I use (most my way employ you chavs or grown up no brain chavs) which have tyre fitters in their 50's and years of experience, the old guys all said the tyres wouldn't fit the rims (195/40x16" onto 8" rims) but they do as you all know. They were suprised they fitted and had never seen it done before, I had the impression they thought I was a twat for doing it. The guy balancing the wheels balanced the first 2 wheel till I noticed with hammer on weights on the face of my D90's, I made him stick on alloy weight behind the spokes
  6. :-d bet ya got Audi TT comps on that......... :-d Audi TT comps.....TOO F**KING RIGHT, anyother wheel would n't make my car look as tasty and one off as it does.....LOL :-p
  7. My best mods were........well a picture says more than words so look for yourself. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d13/bulldogstaffy/chavvdub1.jpg :-p
  8. mmmm......225 TT motor and turbo, 16" rims, coilovers.....etc.... that'd sort it....mmmm....got me thinking. What sort of price are they, and is there a 3 door available.
  9. Saw a Saxo tonight which had neons underneath, LOOKED SHITE IMO, suprised nobody mentioned neons.
  10. Standard wheels on a VR6 are 15" and they fit over the calipars.
  11. Got to laugh ain't ya LOL What have I started ? As said it's not a hate thing it's a dislike of the modifications thing. I don't hate saxos or any other car, just think the chavy spotty young drivers with there drum n bass are d**ks, dont dislike them though. Another dislike that I am guilty of in the past, not thaat it's on VR6s though is the stupidly loud dump valves, as fitted to my old Evo and scoobys.
  12. Now we know that the majoritey don't like the single wiper parked up the centre of the window, whats the worsed other mod to be done ??? I hate as mentioned on the single wiper thread, the "TSW VENOM WHEELS" Second most hated mod is "SMOOTHED OVER NUMBERPLATE APATURE ON THE TAILGATE"
  13. Are single wipers in or out :-*
  14. I'll add these, now I don't think it's a Tranny, but some of you guys who have been with trannies and know what to look for will probally tell me different http://www.flickr.com/photos/voulezvousukxxx/
  15. It's about time for some more LOL (6) Try these http://www.flickr.com/photos/7579239@N05/ dont know what this fella is perving over, is it his voyer photos of girls in the street or just the pics of the buses he's take and collected.

PLEASE DONT POST UPSETTING PICS AGAIN
  17. Thanks for the input and ideas, I don't mind not having coilovers as long as I can get the car sitting right and not rubbing the tyres, so coilovers should be the way forward as in height adjusting.
  18. Looks nice in Blue, I got the same wheels on my works van but silver spokes.
  19. My VR6 has standard shocks but 40mm lowered springs and a nasty bumpy ride, it also rubs the back tyres on bumpy roads, I have D90's 8x16" all round with 195/40x16" stretched tyres and it's a 5 dorr. I've been looking along the lines of coilovers so I can get it low enough but not scrape, where with a shock and spring kit you have no adjustment so it may scrape, I wouldn't know till I'd fitted them and then its too late. I want some sort of comfort too, and not have the back loading too much as it is now under acceleration. A few of the kits I've looked at on the net say they adjust from -40mm
  20. I know where your coming from, I've seen some right old crappers that were described as mint in the past, the people advertising their cars must be really MENTALLY CHALLENGED. Years back, probally 10 to 12 years, well it was when Tyson bit (I think it was) Hollyfields ear (I know that as I was reading the story in the paper that day) my Mrs was after a XR2 and we spent a whole thursday with the thames valley trade in one hand and mobile in the other driving from 1 XR2 to another, some private some trade. Every car was a shitter we only test drove 1 and that broke down as the headgasket being g
  21. Don't know if it's good, but sounds it to me, I'd be happy with that power figure if it were mine.
  22. My VR6 reads 24 mpg average and 29 mpg on a longer run, I recon it's ace. My last cars in recent years have been a 24 valve 3 litre shogun, evo 6, scoobys etc and they all did well under 20 mpg, so that makes my VR6 look good.
