Thanks mate. The part no I was given from my mate who works at VW is 3A0907375A but the one offered doesn't have that number anywhere on it. Which do I have the obd2? Thanks for ur help!

Sounds like there could be a descent crew going to leeds on the 22nd. Just been thinking, would anyone be up for a mini meet before then. This Sunday maybe in Harry Ramsdens car park at Guiesely or somewhere like that. Just thought of there as its right at the top of the road any bradford members would come from and is easy enough for me, Ilkley, Otley etc.

To be honest I spotted it straight away and he assured me it was ok as he is an aston martin technician. I've come to the conclusion its more of a whirring noise and it can't be heard from inside the car, so here's hoping. If it is serious though I will be having words and demanding some money back, I do have friends who are good at persuation!

Thanks for that. To be honest it was said that the car is due for a service so fingers crossed some new oil will do the trick. Where's a good place for said oil? Thank for all your help!

Just got back from buying my highline today. I really enjoyed the drive home and I'm looking forward to many fun times together. However and this is driveing me nuts already, there is a continuous tapping sound coming from the engine on tickover. The car has done 76k miles and I just hope it isn't the cam chain although it doesn't sound like that. Incidentally looking in at the engine from the front of the car where is the timing chain located to the left or the right. This noise is to the right, you know where it says VR6 on the engine its to the right of that. Any ideas please put me out of

Picking mine up tomorrow. Mulberry highline with the most sh*ttiest alloys on and worse still I can't afford to replace them yet...arrggghhh Will deffo meet up for the leeds meet tho!

Hi I am hopefully going to buy my 1st vr6 highline @ the weekend. I want to HPI it first and was just wondering, do I just use the main one at £40 or is there others that are a bit cheaper that do exactly the same job? Thanks guys!!
