    thank u all very very much for ur advise and support it is still a big option that i really wanna do am goin to have a very long deep think about it way up the pros and cons with money not goin out no shows etc etc .... it has calmed donw a bit at work now but i still feel as i dont want to be there any more but dont want to rush into some thing half cocked .....

    for some jobs yes it is easier to use a ramp/lift but can do most stuff with the aid of jacks and axle stands if i can do chains and engine rebuilding my drive I'm pretty sure i can do most jobs not all but most jobs

    As a few of you may remember i was looking at starting my own company a few months ago and i am now seriously looking into start this up now in the very near future .... I'm thinking about becoming a mobile mechanic but specialise in VW Golf VR6`s .... so my question is how many people off here would use me as a company to come fix, diagnose, repair or service there VR6 ??? i would also work on all other makes and models but mostly VR6s .... would also travel for the work but would need to look in to cost etc for far flung places ... I would have a set price for servicing and major repairs IE
