Advice on fitting porsche rims

whats the ofset of the wheels? should say on the inside of the wheel. also i presume your running standard archs, not rolled or anything? tyre wise id go for 195/45/16 thats what iv got on my 7s and 8s gives a little stretch on the back nowt silly. -
yeh i like them wheels different, the profile looks quite big on them tho, and slammed would look mint!

yes the arches are naff so the trims staying. theyve been sprayed like matt black so they stay nice and black all time. thinking red/smoked rear lights -
posted some pics of my new bbs wheels so i thought id show you pics from when i got it till now. without the wheels! my shiney bbs fresh from refurb pics with wheels and a few spruced up bits by me. some stance! And my other toy, any other trialers on here? what you guys think and suggestions for new bits? wanting some c/c seats for it, a supercharger and some subtle tweaks for the outside. any suggestions?

i had a few gripes with my 1st time at gti int. iv been to fcs for the past few years there and was much more busy. i thought there may be a track going on aswell like at fcs. i had a good time and there was some amazing cars. my main critism was the state of the toilets, they were awful and after buying your expensive burger/hotdog/icecream there were no bins to put it in! also got my bbs centres stolen!

the centres were poweder coated and i did the polishing.cheers for comments

well decieded on colour coded centres. got the centres powdercoated. the outer was put on a lathe and polished up. much easier than by hand i assure you!!! anyway piccies

i just meant delete the badge wiper hole and plinth, number plate staying where it is. im putting the trim back on and should have wheels shiney for gti int this wk, see some cars in flesh.

london vr6 do you mean you had the arch plastics colour coded? i want bare metal like the later vr6s. i can weld a new rear arch on so i gues its then cost of painting nearly both sides totally! may get a respray again. wheels go in tom to be powdercoated red, that pic of that other is stunning!

after reading this site and gaining some inspiration, i wanted to remove the plastic trim from the arches. when i took them off theres was mounds of rubber and silicone that i have managed to remove. it would be easy to paint them but the rears have been hacked at with a grinder so i need to replace them. if you look at the pics you can see the damage. also due to the sharpness its cut into the tyre wall. i have some new tyres but want to sort the arches 1st so it doesnt ruin the new ones! the bbs arecurrently off and im polishing the outer lip. the centres are yet to be painted, i really cant

it really is mint! and loads better in flesh. id take 3k as is really. may try hang onto it tho cos i really love it. just mpg will cripple me with more miles

its a 1993 l plate early vr6 106k on the clock. got 5months tax and 9 months mot. got 2k old koni coilovers, got reciept, a full respray 2k ago. sat on 16" bbs wheels. k&n and a magnex cat back coupled to a raceland 6-2-1. had new brakes and lines all around for last mot and new bushed track rod ends etc. mint inside and out. pics below done dog wont be included in the sale!

yeh baildon moor apart from the ones outside my house. Could you do me a photoshop with the arch trims colourcoded too? and the centres red. i like them above with chrome centres but bet there even worse to keep tidy plus i think a dark red sets the chrome outerlip off better! unfortunatly my vr6 ownership maybe cut short, maybe getting a job with more milage! i hope not but any ideas what its worth? 100k bbs konis 2 months ago full respray 2months ago. bodywork mint all over not 1 mark

im sure alot of us have been doing the same but iv only posted pics from the night i got it and they were dark so heres some daylight ones. these wheels are the hardest wheels iv ever had to clean!!!! if anyone who is good on photoshop please colourcode all the black trim and the centre of my bbs in indian red that would be great. cheers. oh and the little driver is my dog! opinions apreciated. before the wash! halfway there!!! done and my little dog!

mines 300 and i love it. any smaller and it startsn looking silly imo. 320/330 is a safe bet if you like a more standardish feel
