    does anyone know if a mk5 r32 dsg gearbox will fit a mk4 r32 dsg?? reason i ask is that i have a mk5 dsg for sale and someone interested in buying it has a mk4 r32 dsg that's broken. cheers, James.

  8. does anyone know how to use the mk5 r32 fuel rail with the mk2 fuel lines? the mk5 r32 BUB engine's fuel rail has a single port for a fuel line rather than the 2 lines used on mk2's, vr's and even the mk4 r32. Also,does anyone know if you need a maf to run the engine when using storm developments stand alone management? cheers, James

  10. Cool, and is the loom easier to wire up to t'old CE2 fusebox then using the whole R32 loom? what are the advantages and disadvantages to VW and aftermarket management systems??

    Mk2 R32

    Right, I have bought a Mk5 R32 engine to swap into t'old golf. my question to the experts is "what is the prefered method of running this engine, on standard VW management or standalone management?" I'm thinking VW management, but I'm open to people's opinions. By the way, the engine has come with a DSG gearbox which will be for sale if anyone is interested. Cheers, James.

  13. those look somewhat larger than ko4's! mental. hgp kit looks alot neater, but still rather complicated.
  14. I was messing about on youtube t'uther day and saw clips of Bi-turbo vr6's 12valvers. Looking at the engine bays it looks very tight. does any one what sort of turbo's this setup would use? I doubt they'd fit on a RHD car, but it did look cool!

  18. Cool, i'd probably start off with the base kit and slowly build up. to be the same price as most other supercharger systems, if not cheaper, but with the scope to out power many turbo systems like you said. does anyone have any pics?

  20. Does anyone know where i can get belts, brackets, pulleys etc for a vortech supercharger to fit a non air con vr6?? i do remember C2 doing them, but i dont think they do them any more 'cos of focusing on turbo power. Cheers, James.
  21. hi all, i was just wondering what peoples views on low psi turbo kits for vr6's. quite a few tuners seem to making the non intercooled low boost turbo kits, such as eip, kinetic and hpa/hgp (there kit is for mk4 applications). any views?? Cheers, James.

Hi all, i mate of mine in the states is talking to me about selling his v1 or v2 charger the same rotation as used on vr6 applications. it's off a mustang and i was wondering if anyone knew where i could get the brakets, pulleys, belts etc to fit the charger to my vr6?? mine doesn't have air con.
