Hi guys I'm looking to do a very minor, discreet mod I'm driving a 2.8 12V If i go 264/260 by cutting my stock cams with a chip and dyno tune, what kind of results would i be looking at? Anyone know of the expected power gains?? Help would be appreciated
  5. Hi guys So a few days ago, my fuse for the electric windows popped. 2 days later, i replaced because i went on a trip approx 75 miles long. Not even 4 minutes, the fuse pops again. Replace it, pops again, and again....... Anyways, anyone have a similiar problem?? The one fuse melted holy! So i'm a bit concerned, removed all fuses, driving with aircon on now, gas eater! :-( Help please!
  6. Sounds like the water pump to me. Remove that drivers side mounting, lift the motor, and you're there. Don't ask me how to remove it though. :S
  7. Hectic!!! And it's an original part. Not from the agents though, personal sale. I was thinkin, i'm gonna drive with it for a day, do some gauging against other rides, MK5 GTi's, VTec's, Maybe a MK5 R32 too. If the car goes well and the fuel consumption is acceptable, i'll purchase it from him.
  8. Ok, cool. Will do. Thing is, the part number might be different, but it might work. I don't know........ But i will definitely try that. Gonna phone VW Barons now.
  9. Hi Guys I got a '95 Jetta/Vento. Now my air mass sensor is stuffed. Will a '98 air mass sensor work on my car?? Well, my guess is it will, but will it work properly?? I can get a new one for 750 Rand which is roughly 78 Euros. Your help will be appreciated!
  10. Oh, and by the way, there are clips that needs to be removed from the spot/fog lights in the bumper, the bumper indicator's clips as well, and obviously, your headlights clips, sometimes they're hard to get off because of the dust that settles on them.
  11. took me about 2hours to do it. excluding the time it took for me to clean some of the coolant/anti-freeze of some of my components in the engine bay. Would be best to have someone help you remove and fit the bumper. It is hard fitting it on your own.
  12. Hi guys. This past weekend i replaced my radiator. It was very easy and simple, remember, my VR6 is a Vento. Basically... remove the front grill which is mounted via clips remove the bumper which is mounted via screws and very simple to remove remove your headlights, also mounted via screws remove the bumper stiffener, mounted via bolts/screws unfortunately there was no way of removing the radiator without removing the aircon, so you're gonna have to release the gas in the aircon and remove the pipes. It's much easier taking the whole radiator/fan/aircon component off so you remove the front u
