I was the second bidder on the handles as some one had bid before me so I was going up in small amounts to try get them cheap as I could but I reached my limit so I stopped bidding as getting carrried away has cost me alot in the past. I'm thinking of just hanging fire till winter when I won't be running my car and switching to Audi A3 handles if anyone knows of any problems with doing this let me know. Cheers

Personally I would beat the shit out of them but my brother did that with some lads who mucking about near his cossie and the little punks came round later on and put his living room window through. Your call mate but usually they have nothing so you have a lot more to lose and be damaged than they do.

Have you had the door cards off and looked inside the door at the catch mechanism? I have looked at handles fom the scrappy and all the ones I've come across have been really faded hence why I haven't bought any yet.

Most of my driving is on country back roads to and from work and mine usually does bang on 280 to a tank.

I'm sure the ones I've seen have either had red and clear type back lights in them or the GTI type red and smoke ones. Still I suppose it's true when they say that you can't buy taste!

I was the one who was bidding on those handles I was going up to the maximum I wanted to pay as I only wanted the n/s one but it aint going to cost much more than that from VW so I stopped bidding
