  1. Just as an add on, the corrado needs the rear engine mount trimming by 15-20mm is this the same for the mk3?
  2. Thanks for the responses. Number 2 definitely isn't the level probe. Still struggling with these, may need to find a local vr owner that can let me look around their engine bay.

  4. Hi all, As per the title I am after some help with identifying the below plugs on the engine bay wiring loom please. 1. Location next to ECU plug - outside temp sensor? 2. Located next to water reservoir 3. Located just before radiator & fan plugs 4. Located next to starter motor plug 5. Located next to starter motor plug 6 & 7. Located at the end of drivers side loom near to horn plug - is larger one AC related? In addition could anyone advise wire colours/provide picture of aux water pump if none of the above.   5. hello guys after a little advice 1. i am looking to replace the bushes bushes but which are the mains ones to replce. rear beam, wishbone and subframe? are crossmember etc really needed? also is it worth getting all powerflex bushes? i have been told that the front wishbone bushes fail if powerflex and so get oem then for the rear wishbone i was told get tt ones instead? 2. looking to get some powdercoating done and so will be doin rear beam, wishbones, subframe, crossmember etc most likely. is it wise to replace all mounting bolts when refitting as some are stretch bolts? any advice appreciat
  6. as in the title i am planning to swap the wiring from a vr6 into a golf cl. i want to keep all interior electrics the same as my alarm has got some crazy wiring lol, so i was wondering can i just swap the loom bits that go into the engine bay and use the vr ecu? are the all the bits just plug n play as the plugs are different sizes so hould be simple? cheers sorry if these are dumb questions lol

  8. as in the title is the throttle pedal, cable and bar on the golf 1.6cl the same as an obd2 vr6? it looked the same to me although didn't look at the vr with the heater box and insulation off. cheers guys appreciated

  16. cheers for the replies ideally it is just for looks really lol. i am planning on big brakes up front anyway so thought would just see if there is an easy way to increase the backs. i will probably just end up installing mk4 rears i think.

    i tried signing up to club gti but they never activate my account. they don't know i have a mk3 lol.

  24. i have weitec hicon txs on mine always found them comfortable and damper adjustability is handy tempted to swap to konis soon though maybe what koni setup are you running craggsy
