I'd agree, I had a very similar problem with an old cavalier gsi and it ended up throwing up a load of fault codes from the ECU. Try a diagnostics test first and hopefully that might point you in the right direction. Adam.

Hi Rich, thanks fo the advice mate. Looks like I will have to have the side of the car re-sprayed thanks to some little wanker! Not looking forward to getting a quote on this one.. arggghhhh!!! Absolutely gutted! I'll see what kind of prices i an get, i know of a garage that did a good job of a car i had before, so i hope they can work some magic once again! I left a message when I called as you weren't in, hope you got it mate. I found the car I've bought in Wigan where I Originally come from. I couldn't resist it as he was only asking 3,800 and it was mint and completely original. Thought i recognised your car when i signed up to the site! Gutted! Just went to get in my car and discovered some absolute tw%t has keyed the rear quater panel and the passenger door! I've had the car 1 week and feel like crying! Just wondering if anyone had ever used the chips away mobile body work service at all or wondered if anyone could reccomend a decent body repair place, preferably in North west or North East! This may sound daft,but i just bought a p reg vr6, and I am concerned that the interior has been altered as the seats in my car really don't resemble sports seats, look like they are out of a driver or cl!! They are black with a red and green pattern on, yet they don't seem to have any bolsters on them. Does anyone out there know if this seems correct, i think its supposed to be "isola cloth." Anyone have any pictures of what its supposed to look like please, or where i can buy a decent upgraded sports interior please? Any help much appreciated, cheers gang, adam.
