    the inside of the car is now finished and the engine has been fully rebuilt some more pics hope u like

    if it is just the top tensioner u r doing then u can do it with the top cover off only but if its the chain to u have to take the box off

    yes there is some bolts under the bumber to. and clips in the arch liners easy job.the carbon canister is straight forward to but i think its a tight fit for u air con boys

    my mate just did the tt dash thing to his golf and put the gear knob off that on his dad threaded it on so it was proper factory tight

    ive just fully rebuilt my engine done the chains all seals and gaskets skimmed ported polished head new stem seals and guides its defo worth it but it is an expensive hobby lol

    cheers binliner i think ill just have to give it another go and hope for the best aaron from prem told me to switch on the ignition and mark were the fuel was what i dont understand is do u stick that needle back on with the ignition on cos the needle aint workin now and i did everything he told me to do had an idea how about i back them in a box and send them to you binliner with a crisp twenty inside and u could do it for me 8)

    got myself a set at inters fitted them yesterday and buggerd all the clocks cos the last owner had superglued the needles to the brass bits inside so got a new set o clocks coming any tips on how to fit em dont want another set of broken clocks

    1.the pipe that goes between the crankase breather and the induction pipe has a plug on it mine has a capacitor across it any 1 no why?? 2.got a bonrath power rohr it doesnt fit n e one got n e tips for how to fit it 3.is the engine spose to sit level or at a slight slope 4.i have one wire i dont no were it goes its by the dizzy cap is it for the cars that camre with coil pack cos there is no were for it to go unless ive lost it during the rebuild any help would be ace

    rite im uprating all the engine mounts.new gaskets all round getting the bores honed etc. doing the chains at the same time please could some one post up the parts i need for my obd1 engine to do the chains.i.e the mk4 part numbers if i can use them any help would be great i have read most of the post on here but i aint sure what i need for the obd1 please help thanx wolfsbergvr6

    well ive listend to the timing chain niose on here and mine makes it so im thinkin just do the lot at once i wish there was a definitive guide on the timing chain job so i knew what i was in for

    well i think i killed my vr tonite u can move the engine loads so i think i have snapped a engine mount so there for i need to know. how much are uprated engine mounts?? also car has done 130 thousand miles should i just strip engine out and do the chains aswell????
