I was there yesterday...they told me of the MK2 R32 with one super charger hitting 600bhp..but was introducing another to make it 2...all in the name of development...i love it !! The have a Mk5 engine TOP and a MK4 Bottom to run in one car.. (6)
-
Superchargers give smooth power and cost approx £3000...serviced they run 50k miles...better than a hot turbo
-
Why not go for an R32 in exchange.

I have traction control so no wheel spin...unless i drop the clutch....and it will leave 2 black lines down the road.

Link for DUB POWER http://dubpower.co.uk/ The Thermostat is £15 but was advised to change the housing as they seem to break. The brakes are ok..very good I wont post a photo...hense the words 'I could' SO has noby here used them in the past?

http://www.stormdevelopments.co.uk/ Have any of you been there or heard of them?...they have a nice collection of Golfs. I bought a performance kit off them...full Pipe inc manifold, 10mm Leads and 70'c Thermo-stat. It sounds loverly...i just cant wait untill its all settled in. Other parts i have installed EBC disks all round and EBC Red pads, Koni Sports shocks and a Jettex filter. I could post a picture if you wanted...i'll need to wash it again..after a 3 hour wash session and the rain and dirt messed it up again.

I had a service on mine after a long time (25k..oops) and i was getting 29 on setting 2 but on setting 1 its got up to 32...33. But now i have had a full new exhaust pipe and performance filter the bleeding thing was up to 42...(must admit i need to allow the pipe to settle in)......but still thats riding at 60 mph on the Newbury road. BTW I finally got an exhaust pipe...after 6 years..from DUBpower.

Fitting shocks at home
Sarge-Devil replied to Sarge-Devil's topic in Wheels, Brakes, Suspension and Steering
I got the kit yesterday...and they were fitted today. I will take her down to Mitchelldeva tyres on Saturday to have 2 new tyres and the wheels alligned. I was impressed that the guy said that he could do it at sutch short notice..as other people were full untill the end of next week. I like the look of the drop..its quite a bit all round..oh and the shock kit was in pieces..ie the springs were loose and the shocks were in their own boxes as a kit in them selves....normally i would fit them myself, but it's hard for me too find time to do anything. Thanks for the advice guys...much appreciated -

I've since found out Kwik fit, central tyre etc don't touch customers own parts...but i was quoted £130 for £cash by a garage. -

Thanks for that info...i think i will ring around to find the costs of fitting. I don't have the tools, or the experience..but it was worth a try to find out. -
Hello again, I have ordered a Koni Sport kit..i had enough of my original shocks failing. Anyways...are they easy to fit yourself or is it a black art ?
