I hope I can pay at the gate as I havnt bothered booking my ticket!

Its possible that the oil light only registers low oil pressure rather than low oil level! Im not sure though...
-
And go off when the engines started?
-
You should get the oil warning lamp flashing at you, ,does it come on when you turn on the ignition?

As the problem seemed to be with your idleing I suggest it was the throttle body that needed adapting again' date=' by turning the ignition on a leaving it for 5 minutes or so, would have heard the throttle body making noises while it was adapting.

I wondered what that noise was when I replaced my battery
Either the throttle body or the aux water pump would make a noise when reconnecting the battery.

Seems to be a common problem the rear right sensor going, ive had the sensor replaced twice but this time for the MOT I replaced the ABS pump and ECU and my ABS is all sorted now. I think the connection with the ECU must get fragile after a while on a particular pin or something to cause the common rear right sensor problem.
BTW I got my pump/ECU from eBay for £2.99 ;-)

Ive replaced mine with LED bulbs but the 2 outmost bulbs have gone already! Think the only way of replacing them perfectly is when they are split apart, which is what im planning to do when I paint mine.

Best bet is to get a spare console and try and make it fit! LOL Wouldn't you have clearance problems with loading CD's (unless at the top of the unit)?
-
The 2.9 blocks are ABV engine codes I believe, as opposed to AAA for the 2.8.

Have you got a photo showing the problem with the shock?

Steve Cull (steveg60cab on here) did Sally's TT comps, and several of my wheels. Top quality and cheap for the results!
Heres a link to his details on yell.com http://maps.yell.com/clients/browse.cgi?client=yell_mandd&nat_id=3583990&pc=SA2+7RP&sl=&storePC=SA2+7RP&ssm=&companyName=ALLOY+POLISHING+SERVICES&replayURL=%2Fucs%2FUcsSearchAction.do%3FcompanyName%3Dalloy%2Bpolishing%2Bservices%26M%3D0%26location%3Dswansea%26scrambleSeed%3D91338193

Yeah its normal to idle at around 750rpm.
Glad you got your problem sorted Steve :-)

I put in about £45 a week and that gets me between 250 - 270 miles but that is mostly motorway driving.
The problem with anything that increases power is that it in itself wont change MPG by much if anything but the fact you have more power under your right foot you are going to use it! I say go for it if you can afford it.
-
I definitely need one of these now!
-
Theres a few guys on German eBay, one I can think off atm is called FelgenFuchs but not sure if they do Schmidt rims or not.
-
Will need 6mm longer bolts mate as you need 6mm of washers to space out the caliper due to the slightly different offset on the disks I believe.

I've just found that out' date=' £188 (inc vat but not p&p LOL) for 1 dish (major ouch)
[/quote']
I hope that's stainless for that price!
I got quoted £150 a dish for my RH's in stainless from JustMatz, needless to say ive stuck with what ive got at the moment. LOL
Do you need all 4 dishes? Can they not be refurbed?
