  1. I have a P reg VR6 and Im after an induction kit. What are your recomendations? Does anyone have one knocking around thier garage I could buy off or can you recomend a good supplier? Thanks Scott
  2. Because of a new job which is a 70 mile round trip away and an addition to the family I have decided to change my M3 Golf VR6 for a Bora TDI. A few questions for the people in the know..... Im thinking of the PD 110 or PD130 are there any differences between the two or can you just remap the 115 to the 130 power levels? Im thinking of buying a nearly new one are there any deals to be had? Anyone driven one, your thoughts/opinons? Should I be looking at any other marques of TD that would be quite quick and practial?? Thanks in advance Scott
  3. I have a 97 Golf Vr6 with 65K on the clock. I have got o new job that means a 80 mile round trip to work for 19 days then 14 days off. My questions are with all this extra milage plus my personel milage greatly effect the VR6? What kind of milages can these do with out it all going wrong?? Whats the other members milages and do their cars feel different? Thanks Scott
  4. Yeah understood, I think I will have to replace the shocks soon as the near side rear is starting to leak. The Koni eibach set up sounds good to start with all the rubber mounts and bump stops. How much do you think this will cost approx?? Cheers lads what a great site Scott
  5. Well I say it hadles like sh*t im coming from a clio Cup to my VR6. It seems to wallow in the corners, long fast sweepers are ok but tight fast roundabouts are a nightmare, I seem to have no feed back on what the tyre's are doing at all. With My Clio I could feel the road. The VR has only done 65K miles. Im not botherd about a harsh ride all I want is some feed back on whats going on. At the moment I have no confidence in its tight cornering abilty. Scott
  6. I have had my VR6 for a few months now (97 P reg), I think the hadling is very poor, the previous owner lowerd it but with springs but never toutched the shocks. It has a very harsh ride. The wheels are the standard 15" BBS. So what is the best way to make my golf handle well? Thanks in advance! Scott
