    Try, diconnecting the battery from the earth side for 5mins. Reconnect and turn on the ignition for 1min. Start the engine and let idle for 30sec, then drive. Revs will then be reset and the ECU will record new.

    Always enjoy leaving GTI's and TDI's in my wake. Had a bit of fun with a Maserati last night on the A1! Was at front of lights with him sat behind. Think he was fairly impressed with the pull on the VR. He never came past....but that may have been something to do with balls though!!! %-6

    This may be a common problem but would appeciate some advise. I have a P reg 97 Highline and I find if you let the car slow down (in any gear) and then reapply the accelerator the car seems as though it misses. Any thoughts?
