Luke 0 Posted July 27, 2006 Report Share Posted July 27, 2006 had my car on vag com & it said hall sender faulty,boys down at the firm said it could b a few different fings,crank sensor,cam sensor etc...just thought id c if ne1 else has ever had this b4,if so wot was the problem?the car itself is holdin back really bad but it is on & off,sumtimes its good & sumtimes its bad :-( Link to post Share on other sites

gav_113 0 Posted July 27, 2006 Report Share Posted July 27, 2006 is urs dizzy or coilpack? if it is dizzy then this may help.i had a hall sensor go on mine, i bought the car like it. it was so slow, u can lose 30-50 bhp. VW main dealers wouldnt sell me one, said i had to buy a complete dizzy? sumting like £180!!phone these guys they will send u one next day for £35 i think? Probedistributors 01708223225 they supply ones without wires,because the wires go brittle and break! ..fits just the same, just slots in and then screw it down.hope this helps Link to post Share on other sites
