zedvr6 0
Just been doing some searching around the forum and have found that a slightly noisy chain can be cured by changing the timing chain tensioner bolt. Can anyone possily show me a pic of the location of the bolt and how involved it is to change it?Thanks. ingham 5
its at the back of head, gearbox side .if your changing it be sure you get correct one as there are two types.if your car has 100k on clock i would advise to change the lot and if you have old type change to later top blade and tensioner bolt
zedvr6 0
My vr6 has done 65k miles. So i think i will try the tensioner bolt first.Hopefully this should reduce the niose on the chain.
