spindat45 0
When the engine is running, the car is in neutral and you put your foot on the clutch do you hear any difference in the sound under the bonnet? Does anything start or stop making a noise? Might need someone to test this with you. Also does your clutch pedal feel heavy and does it crunch when driving and changing gear? I'm thinking it could be a worn clutch release bearing and or a weak clutch cover. Sounds like its not clearing properly which is why you're having trouble getting 1st and reverse. The spinning feeling could be the release bearing which spins when the clutch pedal is pressed. These are included in most clutch kits (not so sure about VR kits) which is what i think you might need.Kevin
