This morning i filled my tank with the usual super and noticed that afterwards the needle on my fuel guage went to the same position as before i filled it up which puzzled me and after blaming Mr. Attendant, i drove the car and the needle moved very slowly until reaching what i imagine is the correct position after about 50 miles or so. Anyone else had this problem and what could it be? I would have thought its something to do with the float in the tank but could it be electrical?

This has happened to me before, but most of the time my gauage works perfect....

Put a tenner in, gauage does not move, drive for 20 minutes, then it decides to move, its got to the stage now where i dont give a shit, i know theres fuel in the tank so i just drive in my normal non economcial way. :)
