djbigpete 0
This morning i filled my tank with the usual super and noticed that afterwards the needle on my fuel guage went to the same position as before i filled it up which puzzled me and after blaming Mr. Attendant, i drove the car and the needle moved very slowly until reaching what i imagine is the correct position after about 50 miles or so. Anyone else had this problem and what could it be? I would have thought its something to do with the float in the tank but could it be electrical?

mk3anni 0
It's probably the sender in the tank getting stuck. Not a big job to replace i don't think.
vr6matt 0
This has happened to me before, but most of the time my gauage works perfect....Put a tenner in, gauage does not move, drive for 20 minutes, then it decides to move, its got to the stage now where i dont give a shit, i know theres fuel in the tank so i just drive in my normal non economcial way.
