Guest teamcanada
So my car was running fine, then the idle started to get rough and the car stalled a few times when I pull up to a light after driving. I got the throttle body all cleaned out and the problem went away for awhile. Now it's back and worse than before. It seems to be at its worst after driving the car decently hard for a bit then coming to a stop. Anyone have this problem? Any thoughts on how to fix it?THANKS!!!!!!! VRTrickster 0
Yes ,try cleaning the ISV under the plastic cover by the TB if you dont know what I mean? Clean it with carb or brake cleaner. Seemed to solve my stalling ,but I still get the odd occasion.
franchise 1
Have you had the bad loss of power when setting off, where you have to ease the throttle to get any kind of momentum? This happened to me last night, scared the shit outta me so I left her for a couple of hours, went back, fired her up and she was spot on. Apparently a slow start helps? Ignition on, let the lights go out then fire her up.After reading around though I'm still gonna get me some carb cleaner and get dirty.
