IbiVR 0
On the top of the tensioner you'll see a threaded hole - off the top of my head its a 6mm thread. wind in a nice long bolt until the belt goes slack enough to come off the pulley, your gonna need about a 40-50mm long bolt.Once the belts off you can take the tensioner off by the 3 13mm bolts that hold it on to the blockEdit: Done a quick pic for you: Tom. SankysVR6 1
There was a post about this last week. But since it's you Adam here's my replyTheres 3 bolts holding the tensioner in place remove any one of the bolts. Place the bolt in threaded hole in the tensioner and wined it in to realse the tension from the belt.Change the beltRelase the bolt form the tensioner and place it back where you took it out of earlier
stockers 1
thanks sanks, i'm only taking the tensioner off to give it a bit of a clean, is it worth replacing the belt anyway while its off?
GVK 1
It's an M8 bolt btw - I replaced mine at the weekend.

SankysVR6 1
thanks sanks' date=' i'm only taking the tensioner off to give it a bit of a clean, is it worth replacing the belt anyway while its off?[/quote']Only if it looks warn and tired. But then again it only takes 10mins to replace it, so as you taking the tensioner off might aswell go and replace it for what it costs
