guppers 0
hi there. i've had my vr6 for a little over a year now and although it looks good in standard form i am growing tired of its suspension that seems to be made with treacle. what i wanted to know was the best wheel, tyre and suspension compromise. i would like the car to be reasonably low but i don't want to roll the arches if poss. i was thinking maybe santa monicas or rs6 replicas in 7j 17 form and a 40 mm lowering. any thoughts. cheers
petervr6 0
that should be fine with out the rolling of the archs needed.hope that helps
mannie 0
imo, the santa monicas looks the best on the vr than the rs6,use 205/40/17 tyres .
guppers 0
what suspension kit do you suggest. from scanning the posts on here i think the g-max kit is the best. am not looking for coilovers, unfortunately money IS an object. just a 40mm drop. from what the folks on here say a 35mm kit eill do this?! cheers guys. mannie 0
im on koni sport suspension kit( 25-30mm drop),it is plenty low enough for every day use.after few hundred miles it settle to about 35mm all round when you change to new suspension don't forget to renew the bump stops, top mounts & berings and the tracking check/reset.
