vr6 obd1 rebuild

hello, ive had my mk3 vr6 which is a obd1 model fully rebuilt at awesome. it is now 2.9 and is a standard car (apart from the capacity increase) what sort of figures do you think it should/ will produce? ive been told that it may require the software from a 2.9 vehicle to actually make the standard figures of a 2.9 if you are with me! i presumed it would now be as all 2.9 cars? many thanks.

as far as i know the 2.9 has a different inlet manifold

and the ecu has a more agressive fuel map

and is suited to the 100cc increase in capacity

if you want the best out of it it will need a custom remap or a 2.9 ecu

vince at stealth has the software to remap obd1 cars on the fly

Remapped and with the Corrado manifold should make around the 190-200bhp mark standard.
