ggunson 0
HowdoI have a 92 Corrado VR and the headlights refuse to come on, the odd thing is the side lights work fine, and i can flash the main beam.I have checked all the fuses in the fuse box, plus i have swapped the switch, but still nothing. There is 12V perminant at the the connector block + 12V switched, the earth seemed fine too, is there another fuse / relay that i have missed some where??I have also had the blubs out to inspect the filiments, they are fine too, bloody headlight out job though, vw are foo king jokers arn't they??Any ideas greatly appriciated.Have fun on your long weekendG
Earwig 89
Have you actually swapped a bulb? Or just checked the filament?Although they may "Look" ok they are often not. Seems strange that they both won't come on though as they rarely blow in pairs but it's a simple thing to do just to make sure :-)
kilokilla 0
ive known them to mess around like this when ignition module is on its way out basically the little electronic module on back of ignition barrel try turning ignition key slightly left and right when lights are turned on if they work when you do this you are probably in need of new module. ggunson 0
Nice one, that two more things i can check, I didn't phsyically change the blub, basically if you tap it close to your ear you can hear the filiment rattle about, but i could swap it over just to be certain My dad came up with the idea that it might be the main beam switch on the stalk. So i'll try that too, when it's fixed i'll update this thread...CheersG
