I put new normal leads on a while ago but when I accelerate hard it feels like a weak spark lack of fuel sort of holding back thingy %-6 and it is realy begining to pi#s me off,and I was hoping that better leads would help.

They look a bit like a rip off of Splitfire duals, and i've never really rated those.

If you've got hesitation, then you're better off tracking the fault down, instead of throwing money at "guesswork" items.

For instance, has it got a decent service history? If so has the air filter and fuel filter changed recently?

I'm no VR6 expert at the moment, but as a fully qualified car mechanic, the amount of proper hassle an old fuel filter can make is unreal. You're better off checking the simple things first. :D

I had those on my mk2 16v and they were really good, probably better than magnecor, and slightly cheaper. I did have some problems with them at first, but it turned out it was the dizzy cap. Put a new cap on and it ran mint, a lot better throttle response compared to the standard leads . Only reason I didn't put them on the vr was the thickness. You could tow a car with them, they're that thick!
